Macca, I'll check again tomorrow. Today I took the bumper off, straightened the smile, removed the Techart brake/fog units and fitted the new brake ducts. I will refit the bumper tomorrow and look at the suspension then. The oil pipes should arrive on Monday.

John. How did you pipe the air from the brake ducts to the inner guards or was the piping and deflector system already in place?

While I had the bumper off I checked the oil cooler. Pretty encrusted but I think I'll leave it as is unless I get overheating issues. I don't want to push the muck further into the fins.

Macca, it's all show. There are no pipes behind the Techarts. These are more accurately ducts for the oil cooler and air con.

Could be worth soaking it in some de-greaser or citrus solvent (like dissolvit) if it becomes a problem and has to be pulled out.

The techart systems did come with the plumbing gear from factory. It was a major job to install however. I think I explained this to Nik by PM. We spent 10 hours getting mine installed both side so it worked to cool the brakes. Its a nice system when properly installed because you still get the 35w driving light and the keeper light.

Before I went to the Techart System I had the Porsche OEM Turbo S system installed. I bought industrial quality flexi hose from an outfit in Onehunga and piped it to vent right by the oil cooler and air con matrix. Worked beaut and cost little. Im pretty sure I have some in the unit still. You can attach it a variety of ways....could be an idea if you want to improve the effectiveness of the air going into those inlets...

Were your old lenses the same as these?

Yes, my lights were the same as those. One side had a broken frame. That's why I've binned them. I never use fogs.

Attention Hampton Downs Trackday goers: I've initiated a poll to determine the best day for the next meeting in April. Spread the word and get them to register and vote at http://www.europacific.co.nz/playday...php?topic=11.0

Regards the fog lights. I spent 150 NZD on ebay and bought HID 35W kit with digital ballasts for these (same with headlights but 55w HID). It made a BIG difference to the light they give and I use them often instead of headlights as running lights.

Alas, unfortunately I will not be able to make April meet at HD. Will definitely get another session in however before year end. Possibly around Aug/Sept. Will also be aiming at getting back Oct/Nov (Targa NZ) if travel plans permit...

Paul. I'm not sure. If there is a PCNZ group going would take the organisation hassle out of it but I've seen nothing as yet. Its in May correct?

Front and rear anti roll bars are 22mm. Couldn't see a brand, but they are green.

The rear suspension is RUF Bilstein R65 33305750. Springs are green.
