There'll be live coverage of the Endurance race at HD available here: http://live.hamptondowns.com/gull.html Not the most exciting camera work given it's all static, but if anyone's interested it's there.

That sounds really cheap. I think I am in. How would I proceed form here?

Only seems to be 2nd and 16 August as possibilities, at least according to their website. We are taking BB in the normal group on 2 August. At least one person is going in the Prestige bunch on that day. PCNZ sprints on 3 August. 16 August has only two car groups.
It looks relatively quiet. Maybe September dates will come up.

Won't be able to make that unfortunately. I definitely won't be breaking in to 15s any time soon either. Been 12 months since I went around HD properly and the RS is still in Targa set up and needing a couple of front tires.

Tires ex USA - freight to NZ
I have a friend running a school fund raiser and they have organized a container to be shipped ex LA to NZ and they are selling space to fill it. He just rang me and one of the other organisers is bring in tires for his audi suv. I have asked him the tire size and cost for these tires as a benchmark.
The container logistics are all being handled by Mainfreight so it all seems to be well handled.
Any interest here PM me and I can get more details

Graeme. Thanks for the recommendation on the exe-tec iphone camber measuring tool. what a great bit of kit and superbly engineered. I just calibrated the app on the iPhone and checked off the GT3 wheels after a bit of fast road work this afternoon. I have the geo sheet from a few weeks back and Im pleased to say the tool looks accurate to within 1/10th degree. I will bring it to the NITT so we can check off camber on various cars and get an idea of what settings folks are running...

Phil - thanks for those tyre details.
Mark - per PM, I read the underlying legislation itself and it looks like Nitto NT-01s are road legal in NZ but probably not worth the effort of proving it to WOF testers etc. Plus they'd soon be under 1.5mm anyway with most of their useful track life still ahead of them. The NT-01s exact sidewall wording is "Recommended for competition use only" but they are DOT approved and meet the 'Federal Motor Vehicle Standard 109' that is among those NZ accepts. The word 'recommended' helps probably, but there are easier and faster roadable track options out there anyway.
Graeme - thanks for sharing. I'll see what I can find to fill a spot in the container before the cutoff.
Paul - did I miss something? What's the deal with the livery in your avatar?
Will probably get my tranny rebuilt here with a US sourced upgrade kit to further bulletproof it for track but am waiting on quotes for a full offshore upgrade to compare against. Really want her back together before NITT!
Withdrawal symptoms setting in. Will have to stick a Porsche badge on my Audi soon to see if it makes it go faster...
