Hoping someone can further clarify as I have seen many Cayman owners indicate the improvements, but in my reading, no 981 GT4 owners have chimed in.
Is there any difference between a stock non-GT and a GT 981 Cayman shifter and cabling and if there is (I presume the GT4 linkage would be stiffer/shorter), does this upgrade provide as worthwhile an improvement for the GT4 as it seems for non-GT4's?

I have the NR cables with an OEM SSK, however I may be selling my car and getting another 987. Gonna skip the cables this time (wasn't a fan of the feel, felt like binding) would stock Porshce cables work with the Numeric SSK?

Wanted cables for 996 GT2. Am local to Tampa so emailed to see if I could buy and pickup. Davis responded shortly after my email and said yes, said they do discounts for cash deals so I asked how much. Davis said $400, was very responsive with a few email exchanges, which I appreciated. I asked if they'd throw a wrench in as well for that price. It's been 3 days and no response, I guess asking for a $20 wrench was too much. I even said I'd pay for it, it’s only $20 and still no response.
I guess the lesson here is don't ask for a $20 wrench when getting a “discount” or you get thrown back to full price on the web site

I think they just aren't responsive. I bought the shifter and cables over 2 weeks ago and they still haven't arrived. They sent an email saying it shipped but there was no update for 3 days on UPS tracking. I emailed to ask about it and they never responded. It's been almost 10 days now and it was supposed to arrive yesterday but it's MIA with no updates for a while.

Google said their hours of operation were 10am-6pm so a friend and I drove over yesterday. Place was like a ghost town, way overgrown grass about 3' high and chain-link gate locked shut. Called and tried both options presented and both went right to VM. You might want to talk to your credit card co about a charge back if you don't get your product soon, something doesn't seem right.
