No additional NVH, and I didn't reuse the rubber tubing where the cables pass above the intake manifold, as they press up against the foam rubber pad on the engine cover.
Center console weighs 11.1 lbs without the climate control, for those thinking of making a shift bracket (or chopping out the section) and losing the rest.

The Sugru eventually came loose, so after adding PPF and Ceramic coating it's back to using double sided tape.
I attached large washers, to provide more surface area and allow for just one layer (two delaminates), to the plate bracket with J-B Weld Twin Tube epoxy;

The SS wool also isn't up to the pressures of an exhaust, and was deteriorating.
Latest packing material is Scotch-Brite SS scrubbing pads (AKA Scrubble), 21 per muffler.

Before the last 6 were added;

Scrubble lasts, unlike the SS wool, but the loudness with either around the extended outlet tube is fatiguing on long drives.
I replaced it with a straight through tube, and it moved the loudness centered at 104.6Hz, to a not as annoying 130.5Hz and 2.1db less intense.

12. Custom Ti straight pipe - 2.6K RPM loudness peak (117.6-124Hz -14.3dbFS, 130.5Hz -12.2dbFS, 136.9Hz -19.2dbFS peaks), has overrun burbles

I haven't corner balanced it, but here it is with me sitting in it.
I'll have to weight it again after bringing the scale to room temperature, as it says the car is 23lbs lighter when in the 30s.

ProVent's fiber filter can become clogged with sludge and water, a SS filter will probably not, see S8 link below.

Interesting. No link btw. Have you been accumulating any oil? What's your mileage for reference?

Also, regarding previous post, you should be accounting for driver in seat when properly corner balancing. ;-)

Haven't used it enough for oil to start seeping through the filter.

Thanks, I'll be corner balancing it when it's warmer.

Wireless CarPlay!
Placed the Alpine iLX-107's microphone down by my sneaker, attached to the panel under the steering wheel, no problem with Siri understanding what I say.
I bought the unbranded enclosure kit, the last thing I want to see is another Porsche logo;
https://www.ebay.com/itm/173364131751

It needed the correct holes drilled in the metal chassis, hours of facia trimming and then painted with Rust-oleum black satin enamel.
Also didn’t come with the retaining rings to secure the facia to the chassis, ordered from Grainger;

Used a parking brake bypass because some functions are locked out unless parked;

This was needed for the antenna connection, had to remove the plastic from one of the two Fakras;

Since there is an amplifier under the passenger seat, one would assume you use the preamp outputs, but doing so results in strong pops and only front speakers operational, speaker level outputs work though.
Now I need the stage three Musicar amp, speakers and equalization;

Der Belsnickel brought something for my GT4 this year.

X51 is metal, this looks like the 718 clubsport one.

Having seen a tuned 718 GT4CS dyno plot, the shape of the curve (and ultimate power) is identical to X51 pretty much. Less torque more top end but unsure if this would translate exactly to a regular MA103 which has a different intake cam than the X51 cars.

It'd be interesting to see some good data on this swap given how expensive Dundon runners are...
