wray at BGB supplies. cusd3-4k for a kit - intake, cables, starter, new intake boot, throttle body. When i contacted them in Jan they had not yet fitted and tuned to a GT4. they told me the whole kit inc starter needed no PIWIS work but would need a cobb protuner to sort it.
Group buy anyone?

The runners and ipd keep appearing in the classifieds as people cycle to the 718 gt4. you may be able to go Dundon for a fair few dollars less?

Already have dundon intake runners and IPD plenum and debating whether to go club sport

Power delivery will likely become different to what you have now... you may like it or not.... because the difference in volumetric dimensions and velocity of the plenum and runner between the two solutions will be different.

Yep, As Snowy says - in the US, BGB will be able to supply - the intake parts come from Porsche Motorsport - so PMNA in North America.
The other parts are combination of normal OEM Porsche parts... starter motor can be surprisingly expensive... but best if you can get the whole setup up as a package.

Ah ok, yep.
As it is, I haven't actually had them fitted yet - I've been to 2 track events in the last couple weeks - one was unsilenced anyway, the other was a 105db, but didn't have any issues so far.... running with valves open.
Have another day @ Silverstone GP next week so will try to get readings then.
@d00d Have you had the car on the dyno and/or tuned yet?
@BGB Motorsports are currently installing the 718 CS intake onto a 981 Clubsport, and also recenty did an Agate Grey 981 GT4 - so will be interesting to see what they make of it.

After spirited acceleration up through the gears I backed off the throttle, then tried to get on the throttle again but didn't get any, eventually it came back.
The Sport button auto blip functionality wasn't working from that point on until I started the car again.
This happened twice, but on a leisurely trip it was fine, so I'm assuming it was due to the engine shifting on its mounts and pressing the sensor further into the cover pad.

Back to the stock tune and no problem, but probably less power, will eventually be using a BGB tune for the intake.

My specialist in the UK spent a lot of time with the car on the dyno to get it right..... with just that hardware installed, stock map - we saw that we lost a load of torque at lower revs even vs stock- but then it eventually made a made a big gain in Peak HP at the top of the rev range - fuelling was all over the place.
Once we got the map and fuelling corrected - it shows to be a meaningful upgrade.

Thanks TDT, good information.
Had Eric at Lou's Custom Exhaust and Auto Repair (227 Willow St, Manchester, NH 03103) do the final welds, excellent work as usual.
