These were critical points of our purchase decision along with its off-road capability.
Funny thing is, low end torque is still pretty good off the line. And if you manually shift so you're in the right gear, it's good, then, too.

I bought it and I regret it, especially comparing it to BMW X5 with its amazing N57 and impeccable ZF8.

The interesting thing is that I haven't read of any new owners who regretted buying the post fix CDs
Because of the colder weather masking the problem, possibly? When I bought our second one last year (post fix), it was December. The issue didn't show up until last summer.

I just received the last Bosch check for the amount of $750 and am still happy with the post fix CD.

I still haven't received the 2nd Bosch check. I figured it got lost in the mail. Got the notice too, not going to fix it unless we sell it before 12/19.

As I read the letter, you have to register by Dec 31, and complete the fix by April 30, 2019, to get the money. I have not done either.

Call the class action people and tell them Bosch isn't sending you the 2nd check. You'll then get it. That's what I had to do since I've refused the fix.

I've registered and received the total Bosch settlement. Just waiting to do the fix and the last half of the VW payment. If it weren't for the warranty, I'd be very happy to leave the darn thing as is. With 37k miles, and 5 years old, it still looks, drives and smells like a new car. I'd like to keep it another 10 years, or until my automotive ADD kicks in.

Off road in a technical situations I do not need additional tasks to worry about. The money is not worth getting my family hurt or damage our Cayenne.
Received two additional letters about getting the 'fix' - not going to happen until a properly engineered resolution that does not degrade performance is available.
.
That said is Boundary Bay serving their Scotch Ale pumpkin pie - if so, let us know if y'all would like to join us there.

Don't see it on their website (haven't been in a while, so had to check!).

Not sure which of their seasonals are on tap at the moment... might require some investigation.

I may be imagining things, but I think my car is adapting.

Even at about 50*, I've had a couple of long lags show up. Time for some actual documentation of this.

Thankfully I have not seen any lag since the weather has been cooler. However, if/when this does start to return for multiple people we, as a group should probably pick a reasonably priced OBDII logger and try to get as many people as possible to purchase the same logger. Then we could log parameters like throttle position, engine RPM, IAT and probably gear across multiple vehicles, preferably some that have not had the fix applied as well for a baseline. With enough data we would hopefully have empirical evidence that there is a drivability issue that presents at least some of the time. IMO that is the only way we'll get the lawyers or Porsche NA to address this problem. This is all provided the sample rate is fast enough on the channels required to actually see the event.

In the meantime I am really enjoying driving a CD that actually goes when you press the accelerator.
