P-car addiction started with a 1986 Targa, then a 1993 RS-America, lastly a 958 diesel Cayenne. Each has their strong points which is why we still have all of them. Both 911s are stock, the Cayenne has been modified for off-road and TSD rally.

Still have not switched to FR racks - we will be doing this though. Actually have been very busy and need to carve some time to do it. So far we have had to pass on seven off-road events this season and will miss another tomorrow. Hoping to come up for air soon!

Hey RS, Followed your threads before I picked up my Cayenne this past wknd, 2014 Diesel. Reason for writing is I'm coming out of a semi-built overland rig. T4R Trail w/ Front Runner rack & ARB awning with zip in tent. Curious if you switched Otis to the FR rack? Curious about fit & options for mounting. Any info you have would be great. Mine has factory rails and pano sun roof. Thanks.

Tony, Got your message on Rennlist ref dyno numbers for a 2013 TDI. I only have pre-fix numbers. We are not going to get the fix unless I have data to show our performance will not be impacted. We have to much invested in modifying ours, much more than what we would receive as compensation. If you looked at the link Ben referenced you can see some of what we are up to. Here are our before -at the wheels- numbers run on a Dynojet with data normalized for temperature.

    Max Pwr____203.20___200.97___202.42
    Engine RPM__3.55____3.56_____3.54
    Max Trq_____354.82___356.82____352.35
    Engine RPM__2.46_____2.44_____2.42

We do endurance off-road rally & Overlanding, can not afford to give up performance. One run last summer started at 3800' climbed to 8000' then descended to 4000' in less than one mile. Another issue for us is cold weather starts as in the -36F it got to in Yellowknife.
Thanks for reaching out. I will also PM you on Club Touareg which I do not visit often.

I'm Tony, and I heard from someone on ClubTouareg that you were looking for dyno numbers for a Cayenne TDI as they relate to the TDI emissions fix. I have before and after dyno numbers for a 2013 Touareg TDI. Will that help you? The problem is, I had such a huge power loss (a power loss that I don't feel) that I don't trust the numbers.
I've been looking for someone else who did the same thing to kind of corroborate my data. Please tell me that you did a before and after!

I don't use forums a whole lot anymore, and I can't find where they hid the PM button.
