No, in the process of coding a retrofitted heated multifunction wheel, I chose cruise control and entered 16 zeros. So now cruise control is disabled until I enter a correct enabling HEX.
What tool you using, Launch? Also which module was it in? I just backed up my steering module settings, can send you backup. PM.

Has anyone coded new seats with X431...thinking of swapping mine for 14-way.

Does anyone know of an equivalent thread for 957s? Thanks!

Default X431 help

Can I ask a favor of one of you who has an X431. Can you check if it can turn off hill assist in a 981 GT4. I believe the setting is under PSM.
If it can then I will buy an X431. If not then I will buy a cloned PIWIS.
Apologies for spamming a Cayenne thread with a 981 question but I couldn't find an active 981 thread on X431 coding.
Thank you

There's a coding thread on the first page of the 957 forum. Not as extensive as this one, but a place to start with your questions...

Do you know if X431 can also disable hill assist?
I prefer to buy a legitimate product (X431) over a bootleg PIWIS, but will purchase the latter if I need to.
Thank you.

I have no idea about x431, the latter sure will do.

PM for more.

Assuming this is/was done on the Enthusiast version? Or are most people running the 2-3x more expensive Professional version? I can't figure out which to buy.

Can you adjust suspension/ride height with either version of Durametric? I can't figure out if the extra cost of the Professional is justified for me. I want it mainly for data logging. Is there no difference in the amount or limit of parameters you can read and log with either version? I mean, does having the Professional version unlock more parameters to view or log over the standard Enthusiast kit? Or are these cables/kits basically 100% the same with the main difference being able to use the Professional version on way more than just 3 VINs/vehicles? I have no need for anything other than just my 1 VIN Cayenne lol but I don't want to be missing out on anything the Professional version might offer. Like, it would be just my luck if the Enthusiast version couldn't data-log let's say, Wideband AFR O2 sensor data or something that's fairly critical when working with a remote tuner and having to send data-logs back and forth remotely.

Yes, I know I'm posting in an older thread lol

Durametric sucks. Don't waste your money. If you absolutely have to have Durametric, I will sell you my cable. It has two cars left on it.

Seriously?
A) I'm interested. I'll slide into your DMs lol. I'd still have to purchase the software program too, no?
B) Can you tell me/us more about why Durametric sucks? I don't disbelieve you, but I want to know the specifics of why. And if there are any better options for us. lol

FWIW I'm getting my HPTuners MPVI2+ unit in the mail. I was told by Todd @ Promotive it's a potentially great data-logging solution for the Cayenne. At least my 958.1 version. Beyond viewing and logging lots of parameters you'd want to capture for back and forth emailing files working with a remote tuner, I am not sure what else it'll be good for. It'd be great if I could also use it for flashing the ECU instead of having to buy the MyGenius handheld unit. I doubt I can adjust suspension/ride settings with it lol and allegedly you can do that with the Durametric. Just don't know which one (The Enthusiast or the Professional version). It would be amazing if HPTuners could tune the Porsche Cayenne ECU. I mean, if there's any way I can help that pipe dream, I'm game. I posted over on the HPTuners forums about it. It might be as easy as getting the hard ECU data loaded into some file format so the HPTuner wizards can work their computer magic on it. I don't know.

To others who may have the same question, here is the answer:
-> Launch X431 cannot turn off hill assist (confirmed by Launch)
-> rnlst_log helped me turn off hill assist, and was super patient/helpful
Thank you rnlst_log!
