If you find anything re: disabling the automatic hill hold assist….. please share!
I removed the Incline or Tilt sensor from the VO. Coded with Automatic Coding but the Hill Assist was still active. Need to look at several modules and find the settings. Maybe in Front/Rear Electronics, Kombi or DME modules
Ok I think that this is the setting to turn off Hill Assist. I forgot that I had my DSC Sport controller installed. When I scanned with PIWIS, it could not code it with Automatic Coding. I need someone to test it lol. It's in the PSM module
Just wanted to say this thread is awesome and thanks to the guys who are doing all the research and experimentation and sharing the results with the community. Very excited to hear that theres a way to get the Track precision app working without the navi option. Now to get a PIWIS or find someone who has one locally...

It’s all about sharing with the community. Again, I could not have done what I did without the help of @rnlst_log and others. He checks with me regularly and gives me direction and pointers. If you can find a shop with PIWIS, I can tell them what I changed. I highly recommend you get PIWIS if you plan to keep your car and are into coding other features yourself.

If you or your brother are ever in Altanta area…. He has my number, happy to give this stuff a shot!
This was requested. Number of Turn signal Blink. You can change the number here.
Regarding that, I insisted to my dealer it was programmable and they insisted right back it wasn't. I had about become convinced they were right, thanks for confirming my position. I'd love to have the five blink feature as well, plus nav with cluster readout, hoping Sima can do all this.
Ok to reiterate - this thread is awesome. Thanks for all the screenshots @718socal !
I can also confirm that the settings to disable Hill Hold Assist work (since I was the one that asked for it!)
I wonder if there's a way to have the "mirror tilt when in reverse" tilt more? I got that working too (wasn't sure if it would since my car doesn't have the memory function). But it barely tilts downward.... not enough to at least check for how close to the curb I am when parallel parking...

Yeah I know it barely tilts. I could not find a setting for tilting angle. Maybe have to look at the coding file which is way beyond my skillset
I doubt you can do much about the mirror tilt. The mirrors that come with the memory pack have encoders in the motors to read the position accurately. I suspect that when you code the tilt on non-memory mirrors it starts to move, realises it can't read the position, and stops.

I drove a 2022 Macan and the mirror tilted about the same. There are a lot more mirror settings on the newer cars. On BMW, you can choose the tilting angle with E-Sys
@Josh_357 , since you are close (I'm in Eugene), what would I have to do to convince you to meet with me somewhere to do an hour or so coding on my 718? I'm thinking Auto-Start-Stop memory, Comfort Signals to 4 or 5, gauge faces to White, windows with key fob, maybe a couple more.
