Nice car, not worth that much.
If anyone’s considering - I have photos of when TB bought it from original seller for ~90k or something.
The bumper mesh is terribly done and bumper would need repair to reverse.

I remember when I bought my GT3 pre-covid I had so much inventory to choose from I was picky about 1 overrev, a crackling speaker and a few swirls... lol the market is still a long way from earth.

I forget...what was the buzz on this car? No stories at all? If it were white/gold I would have interest....I think. Hard to move from a standard .2 GT3 that I know is completely together to a car that may not be.

The Sharkwerks car that belongs to what's-his-name was a beater as I recall. I remember there was some goofy video he did before selling it, right?

It was a mint 7k miler until it hit a deer a few years ago and had some front end fixes… not overly superficial as it required a new radiator.

Ya the clown shoes are a bit much for some, I really like my optioned Silver w/carbon mirrors to tone it down.

Hit a deer accident and aftermarket exhaust. I like the exhaust but some said it sounded funny. I didn't think so.

I made a down payment on an entry level Subaru today (ordered the car In june) for my niece’s graduation and her approved rate was 10%… pretty sure another hike will drop liquidity to its knees. So unless people have cash the new car market is going to whiplash when supply catches up.

I would shop that 10% around and have someone co-sign on the deal. New car rates aren't that high (yet). It's also possible that isn't the actual buy rate, and the dealer is marking it up.

Plus cosigning doesn't help an 18 year old out with her credit score. Let her take the 10% and make 12 payments, then go refinance for a normal rate. It will be worth the 12 high interest payments for her to get her credit started. 12 payments kick in a credit score on her report so she can use that to secure a better rate loan. She can even get a Best Buy Credit card and get herself a laptop for school. Another 12 zero interest payments and she's on her way.

lol thats what I told my sister... sorry to highjack the thread, lets get back to talking about what car we all should be on the lookout for if the market is tanking... manual R8 v10+, manual F430... funny but I really have very little desire to drive anything raw outside of this GT3RS so it would just to have something more comfortable, I think a 992 touring 'sounds' comfortable but have never driven... or a maybe Green 997RS w/sofas

Agree with you on adding something more comfort focused next to a 997RS sounds right. Cars I've considered: E9X M3s, C63 AMG Black Series, SLS AMG, RC F, LC500, Jaguar Project 8, Jaguar Project 7, Audi RS4, Audi RS5, Jaguar F-Type V6 Manual, E60 M5, and Z4MCoupe. The problem is choosing which one...

FWIW 6 years ago, I actually was going to get a 458 or 430 manual or 2011 gt3rs, one of those 3 cars, deadset. After test driving a bunch for whatever reason I really liked the cars but I never felt like I HAVE TO HAVE this yesterday, nothing was calling my name....until I ran into a 430 scuderia....

I am a DIE HARD manual guy, but it is such a special car, no one will be able to explain it until you just drive one at full throttle banging the shifts. It's one of the few cars it would be criminal to put a manual in, the trans was essentially ripped out of the winning ferrari f1 car and you feel it.

Check one of them out, u might like it. Build quality feels like a joke compared to porsche but thats what gives it the wild feeling as well, like its a big go kart/f1 car

Oh also, still have the scuderia, at the time I sold my 2019 gt3rs last year they were worth the same amount and imo, the scud should be worth 5x what the 991.2 RS is, makes no sense to me but I will also keep that one forever so dont care if they're worth 50k tbh

I have not driven the black series or sls which I hear are awesome, but the others especially the e92 M3 is a pos...I mean those things couldnt be more porker, same with RS5, rs4, your gonna think they suck after a day

I drove probably 7 E92 over the last 12 years telling myself it will be better this time, and it sucks

honestly, my favorite cars to this day are still 997.2 rs and scuderia....also big fan of my 718 gt4, better versuion of the 997 gt3 imo (I know, crazy lol) and 991.2 gt3rs with a manual swap would be cool, so 991r must be awesome
