Does anyone know how GrandPrix is able to relentlessly source so many cars Pcars?

 

because they overpay for multiples, have the majority of the inventory at any one time, then they set the market, because the rest of the market responds to their asks.

no different than what enthusiast auto group did years ago with BMW M3s, Ryan Friedman does it, CJ Wilson tries to do it occasionally, most recently with B6 RS4s.

pick a car, buy them all, then the market is yours. its not that hard.

 

FWIW…I have been in their showroom and met the owner. At the time they didn’t have the car I was looking for, but I still spent a couple hours there getting to know the staff and the owner, who was polite and professional. Based on that experience I would buy a car from them if the deal was right, That said, and this applies when purchasing from anywhere, including Porsche dealers direct, (IMHO) it’s up to us as buyers to perform the appropriate due diligence that includes inspecting the car, looking at history, and understanding the market, etc. There was no pressure nor any uncomfortableness while there, even when they learned they didn’t have a car I was interested in buying. Certainly can’t say the same for some dealers who inappropriately make assumptions about “status” without getting to really know the customer.

 

Never dealt with GP, but that was the EAG experience, too. Zero pressure and very little negotiation, as you've already decided to pay a premium for a perfect example of whatever you want.

$279k and there is a deposit on the car @ that price. 997.2 GT3 RS market is absolutely not slowing down. People realize this is the best driver's 3RS ever made.

 

in my experience, GP is a used car dealer, with all the bad and good that goes along with that moniker.
do your due diligence, be careful, make informed decisions, just like with any used car dealer.
they are NOT your friend imo. you / we are merely revenue sources.
that's cool if you remember line #2.

I'm working a deal on it now. Just gotta sell the .1RS and I'm all in.
