i do not know if there were factory radio delete .1RS. BUT you can remove radio and put the oem delete box in there. it looks finished. i'll see if i can find pic
Thanks - would love to see that . Are you talking about using the .2 delete box in a .1 dash ? My dealer parts guy was talking with their techs to see what they thought about how it would fit .
driven 993RSCS, 993GT2 and 964RS in asia. i would take 964RS over 997RS

Bad rev report in this one. I considered investigating this car in 2016 and was told by trusted sources it was ratty. PNH has owned it since late Feb 2016. Weird that it is now delisted......
I searched last week to see if this car had been discussed as it seemed unusually reasonable, even with no radio (assuming one sees this as a bug and not a feature). VIN did not pop up but I found it searching for "delete." I found this reference:

According to the GT3 RS registry this one is A/C delete.

Sorry - I missed your post . Thanks for posting that - yes that is the car I saw years ago - I kept thinking it was at Isringhausen or Byers , but the Ooley Blackburn name jogged my memory . I'd like that car ! I wasn't quite brave enough to delete the A/C on my 991 RS even though I did the radio delete . Living in the Northeast with our humid summers the Clubsport got very little use - kept the miles down for sure .

But for sure when I was in Houston I looked at it, and it had a tremendous amount of over-revs in every level. I would say extremely unsually high for a non-turbo 997.

Hi, Everyone -
Long time lurker, finally got the courage to post. Yearning for a 2011 GT3 RS. Found this one in Florida for a decent price; perhaps, too decent. As the infamous Mooty says, there is a reason why something is relatively inexpensive. Does anyone know the back story on this car? I've researched the VIN, but I'm not finding any comments on it. The car is at Penske Porsche West Broward. WP0AC2A97BS783538 Thanks, in advance.

It all depends on your standards and expectations. (In conclusion, Mooty is correct).

Before I bought my 3RS, I flew into Florida and looked at this particular car, in less than 10min I was on my way to FBO to go to Houston and the LA. The cars is CPO I think, but it was not for me. I flew in since it's cheap, but in reality I wanted an under 2,000 mile car. So I bought another car.

And, Mooty, your wife will only tell you you're right THIS time. Remember - the key words for marital bliss = "Yes, dear - you're right, dear."

Most of my friend's spouses don't like to hear from me.
I wanted something mint, it wasn't I walked. Ask them to run the paint meter for you. And I'm betting that it was tracked some, a lot?, I don't know. It maybe a good car just not for me. It was sitting outside.
The mileage (18xxx) doesn't bother me, esp. since it is CPO. The pics of the car look good, but pics can lie. Aside from the mileage, do you remember the issues that bothered you? Poor paint? Engine issues? Like many searchers here, it is difficult to balance the car lust/dream with the scarcity of these cars in good shape (no issues) at the right price point. The older the cars get, the harder it will be to find THAT car. 997.2 GT3 RS obsession is dangerous when you don't have one.
