Wow, with such a high waterline the car looks pretty unscathed... Someone might get lucky as a track rat!

Lots of electronics likely were submerged. It's not really the engines that get killed but the electrical issues that you would have for years afterwards unless you replace everything.

Yep, no buckets. But pretty much every option except for the carbon interior pieces...even though it has the carbon door sills. Its also got the red stitching on the interior as well.

As for mods... its just got an Akrapovic center muffler that was one the car when I bought it.

I was hoping that I could trade/sell it for close to what I paid for it since I put around 1,200 miles on it since I've owned it.... but I'm not having any luck

I'm really only bringing this up because the RS I want is over the $200k mark, so papa needs as much as he can get for the GT3

Sounds like a nice car, but not knowing what you paid for it I think my range is fairly close. Nice silver .2 with ~30k just sold for 95, and here's another comp with similar mileage from a dealer for 117. Market on these has softened and looks to be continuing to do so

It would be a great project depending on the reserve. Douse the car with vinegar and baking soda, gut the car and start building from there. I might have to keep my eye out on this one.

Default market

I have been following market for a while. I have heard the explanations of the inventory sitting at dealers. Yet it seems that each new listing of a 997.2 GT3 at a dealer goes up for yet a higher price than the last one. There are examples at 140. Why such a huge discrepancy. Sellers on the forum seem to have a tough time selling at much lower prices. It seems the disparity just keeps getting wider.

Lack of details is what would make me most nervous. I say 70-75

Also, someone asked the seller for the CCB thickness, their response is also concerning

"if they were a Kardashian, they’d be a Khloe….
Seriously though, I’m not sure of the exact thickness but they’re massively thick."

And a third one NOT on Carfax. That car has some issues, buyer beware. I've brought them to the attention of the staff at BaT and hopefully they will update or pull the listing.

its a higher mile car, has a few issues, but as a driver to enjoy... sure why not. it won't get a premium and it shouldn't.

The biggest issue was not disclosed though. The car has previous structural damage in the rear and the entire car has been repainted. I'm not sure if the current owner knows this which is why I didn't post it in the comment flow but chose instead to alert BaT and see how it is handled from there.

Good looking out Doug, and nice way of handling the issue. In your opinion, what do you see that car being worth with its history and condition?
