PMC car may have been the one Porsche Scottsdale was trying to sell a little over a year ago?

Price is good if car checks out, its actually what I offered Porsche back then when I looked into that car about 18 months ago.

I think it has Range 4 if it is the same car, but was a very long time ago

These cars are robust, but it is a 3k lb 450hp RWD car with huge fat rear tires = lots of load

Cars and Coffee will last 100k miles without blinking, rip canyons or on track itll require love to keep it going.

Cars and coffee a merc is a better choice IMO, these are fun when the motor is screaming.

Love all the GT cars, wish I had more $ and more space I would own one of each without hesitation.

Does anyone know the history of the RS at Porsche of Colorado Springs? It had the trans rebuilt by an outside shop.

auction is atypical
if by auction you mean sotherby, RM, goodings. they sell dogs as well as insanely fine examples. and the ppl buying also are very broad: from novice to serious collectors.

if by auction you mean dealer auctions, whole sale prices.
1. most good cars are not in the auctions
2. even if good cars are in these type of auctions, we have no access to it. so it's price is really a guidance of what dealer to dealer trades at.
Thanks Mooty. good info. Still getting a comfort level with where the market is and direction its heading.

From what I understand, this has yet to be documented on an RS, as they have lighter valve springs (and perhaps some other differences in the valvetrain) correct?

Oh yeah, that review was an experience to say the least lol, by far one of the FUNNIEST dudes I have ever met. Wish my wrap had been done, just didn't look the part it does now haha. Doing the Stef Schrader "Jealous" bit with him had me on the floor dying

^ j.,

dealers make money....
each car i owned are sold for less than i paid, and i am not counting the 10% i lose to CA
i buy and put 5-10k miles on them, usually beat to **** on track
then sell them quite a bit lower than what i paid.
unfortunately most of my RS are not in the condition you like and generally have 15k miles or up, otherwise, i would ping you. should you want a 20k miles RS4.0 to beat on... i got one

btw, the partial collection you have at AV in menlo is very tasty.

I'm in the markets gents for a clean 997.2 RS.
Doesn't have to be low miles as I want to drive the car and track it. But it's gotta be accident free, clean and loved by previous owner.

Much thanks in advance.

Much thanks.

Seats are deal breaker. Must have buckets. Swapping them out is a hassle.
