hassle like 4 bolts and 5 minutes per side?

Looks like values are coming down on these a bit, at least for cars with a few miles.

Sourcing the seats and over paying for them, lol.

I had transmission issues, cables popping off, gears sticking, and ultimately a bent shift fork. Oddly, the synchros were fine. We suspect it was an issue with the TO bearing, because as soon as we replaced it, the gears stopped sticking and cable issues disappeared. Luckily car was CPO'ed and all covered under warranty (and my dealer knows I pretty much only track this car). I thought I was the only one with the issues above, but another guy up here in Toronto had the same problem, and it looks like a couple people on RL reported similar problems. I don't think the issue is common though.

Doesn't have to be low miles as I want to drive the car and track it. But it's gotta be accident free, clean and loved by previous owner.

Much thanks in advance.

Awesome thread. I'm looking to trade in my 991 C2S for a 997 GT3. Any thoughts on this car:

Another Canadian car. Anyone seen it, know of it etc...? It looks, from the 4 pics to be very very clean. But cars can have stories...

On par with other Canadian cars in comparable condition. Not to mention local cars tend to fetch a premium.

Why not just buy something in the states and save yourself the money? Local is all relative

Factor in time, effort, flying out to see the car (and flying back), currency exchange, import taxes, etc. and you're basically even. Not worth it IMO.

^ problem is resale. Its a us car at the end of the day. Just like you would want a discount for a Canadian spec car in the US.
