lol I already have mine so I'm good.. I got the alert from Autotrader as soon as it was listed, I would guess they are re-thinking the approach... just like that guy with the GT2 bucket seats that listed them at 10k and bumped the price to 30k after 100 ppl messaged him.

I’m just glad I don’t have an RS and questioning loyalty to my own happiness… I guess jumping over $250k was the magic “ahh crap now I gotta sell” number

Fighting over vehicles. This is a bit much.

What a time we live in…may the best person win the bid on that one.

If I may make a suggestion, in a case like this don't ask for a picture of the interior. Or anything else. Tell him you want it, make a deposit via Paypal (not friends and family) THEN ask questions. I sold my GTS to a dealer unknowingly and that's how the deal went down. And that's what the dealers did with this car. I suspect one of the usual suspects already bagged it.

First tie it up with a payment method that offers protection, then do your due diligence.

Spot on advice. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Don't worry he got straight to the point with the seller. I just hope it was in time. Rooting for you alex!

To the other commentators, unfortunately this isn't my first rodeo with trying to buy one of these over the past 12 months.

Speaking of .1 GT3’s, Doug just got in a clean 17k mile Meteor Grey example.

They’re just asks like many others. High enough to prevent bidding, but low enough to gather interest. This is and has been been for ages.

Bartering is different, but still oddly prevalent even here in the Americas.

This thread has been taken off topic so many times, it really doesn't matter any longer.

We all go a little off topic sometimes but we usually bring it back on track 😁

I'm usually a little off topic as soon as I wake up every morning. .... come to think of it, I'm usually off topic late at night too (especially in my midnight ice hockey beer league locker room)

... it's the middle of the day that counts tho

and if majority of the folks are participating then that’s one thing. If two blokes are at eachothers throats and we’re all sitting here watching, well that’s a bit different and it’s really not fun for everyone else. If we’re gonna be off topic might as well make it interesting and fun... take the hen fights elsewhere.

edit: typo
