I'm going to be in Aurora IL this week and might take a looky-loo while I'm there.

@Sword_of_the_Spirit where did you find info on the damage? or you know the car?

i honestly don’t know guys. I didn’t set eyes on it and FaceTime is only so clear. PPI indeed. It just wouldn’t make it time for Carweek.

thanks for the wishes though. Best of luck to whomever gets it.

Technically not a lemon, but I would describe it as a turd that wasn’t as described by the seller. But that’s what happens when you don’t perform your due diligence, you get screwed.

The wrap and PPF are interesting…not sure what he did with wheels, maybe they are wrapped also.

Def low mileage, but I’m not sure it’s rare enough to care… in this instance I don’t see much difference between 5000 and 10000 because @5000 prob needs new plugs and tires.

The other black auction went for 151k w/PCCB.

So pay a few extra bucks for unique cool factor w/RS door handles, auto blip installed and lower miles I’d still say $150k.

That’s the XD9 option: “Wheels Painted in Exterior Color” Non-black cars could get the same wheels through the XDA option: “Wheels Painted Black” or you could go CRX: “Wheels painted in Deviating Color”

Nope, those options were available the whole run for North American cars. You tend to see more EU cars with the black/deviated wheels though.

Plus fees. $129,627. About right if it was here too considering the mileage. But first dark blue metallic I've seen for sale.

There were only 4 dark blue GT3s made for the NA market.

The thing I would worry about is why they even wrapped the whole car (sans hood). On such a low-mileage car you would hope the wrap isn't covering up small sand chips. But you never know.

Between the gray wrap and the decals you can tell they were trying to get an RS "look".
