These two might be available at Isringhausen. Aqua blue/white gold .2 RS with 5500 miles and white RS 4.0 with 930 miles. Both have PCCB.

Car was at CNC when it had 6300 miles and according to their listing, the car has full PPF and all original paint.

They do seem to represent the top notch cars, but that red stitching on the drivers bolster has clearly taken a beating. Furry.
Owner must have wore some abrasive pants, or just dragged his **** in & out. And for only 6,900 miles too.
Anyone know if that can be repaired without costing an arm / leg, & taking the entire bolster apart & re-stitching it?

Lol not everyone fits in LWBS…I bought the $450 bolster replacement leather from Porsche off Suncoast when they EOL the GT2 seats a few weeks ago… betting they stop making the leather for them also. I think it’s probably a nominal charge to have it installed.

However I think the red stitching makes it more difficult… they do show more leather colors though. I wouldn’t let it affect price perception too price much on a 300k car.

I think that's a minor issue if the rest of the car is great. I'm sure a good upholsterer could redo the seats for a reasonable amount and match the stitch. Companies like Exclusive Options match that stuff all day long.

You're right about that. It can be matched perfectly. I had an IWC Mercedes CLS55 AMG with titanium-color leather seats and they only made 55 of them. No leather available from Mercedes. I had the repair done to perfection.

What I don't get is why they are selling it the way it is. Looks like sh*t. Spend $500-$1k and fix it. It's the first thing that's been commented on.

Now that you say that it kinda doesn’t make sense why they don’t repair the bolster themselves before putting it up for sale as they have a world class full restoration shop in the back and it shouldn’t be a super complicated repair. If you haven’t seen their facility it is amazing and they perform Pebble Beach Concours level restorations.

I wonder when the last miles driven were, if these two cars are the same owner he probably only saw the car once before it went to storage and just recently asked a broker to put it up because he read that article about 997s.

I am following the new owner on IG(rsr_sled). They recently posted that they returned this car as a lemon and got a 991.2 GT3 Manual. So not sure if this listing is lagging behind or there is another newer owner.
