$160 huh? Might be the smartest move or not in the next year. Who knows. I can say with surety that money is best put into pieces of metal that gives grins. Not the kind that shines, sparkles, or is measured in ounces.

reminds of the time I took my old daily manual base Fiesta hatch (one featured on Top Gear in the Mall setting for those that remember) in the rolling hills of SE Wi amongst a throng of GTi friends. I did have one and a 911 at my disposal. Though I made the right decision while having much more fun, and the level to make pace was drastically higher. Good times. Left that vehicle with many range 3’s….

Hey my car is very shiny I take pride in that. I look at money as a resource. Use it or lose it. I’ve driven 10k miles in a RS past 2 years. Getting my monies worth I would have to say. I don’t think the mileage will matter too much in a few more years. Side note, 2023 will be 50th year since the first RS. I would think AP is cookin something special

In the last month I had two offers which I turned down, both in the $160s, for my base GT3. What a great time this would be to sell.........if only there was another car I wanted more.
wow you got offers in the 160s for your non RS? that is insane.

I agree, 992 GT3 is ugly, the RS wing will be even dumber. I don't really like 991 GT3 and RS but if I went that direction it would be 991.1 GT3 RS over the 991.2 design wise.

I agree the market is currently insane, but relative to the market, the offer seemed low to me. We've see clean, low mile GT3s sell for $20k over MSRP recently. Using that metric, I should have been offered 170k for my car. Anyway, it's all irrelevant to me since I don't plan on selling. I only mentioned it as a data point for what people are willing to pay.

At these numbers though it is hard not to think about selling. My 997.2 RS is one I would consider at today's numbers only because I have owned for 7 years now and I don't drive it as much as I should (only 9.9K on the Odometer).

If you offered it up for sale - or heck, even just THIS crowd reading your post - you will have people lined up around the block.

I have to think about trusting what oncoming traffic does and most runs I do up there somebody crosses into my lane at least once. A 991 or 992 would be fun but I would not be driving any faster and 435hp is just perfect. And I like the feeling of knowing exactly where the front and rear of the car is. It's such a sweet spot. It's so much fun.
My old driving buddy, Mike. Car is stock. Only mod is the nut behind the wheel. Fast as f**k!

Northwest European has a low mileage Grey/Red .2 RS available. Not much info on it though.
