Sorry Doug, had to do it. :-)

That said, knowing you, your connections and resourcefulness, you will most likely make it happen!
hehehe,... yea, I'm glad I deleted my post above,... cuz I wanted to say something similar, but it was not nearly as eloquently funny as yours. And especially since my car does not fit any of his customer wants,.. I guess it's safe to post. Lol

... strange times we're in,.. and wondering what it all means for the future of these 997 GT cars. the supply has dwindled down ... which has happened (to some degree) in the past (but not nearly like what we're seeing now),... and wondering if the supply will come back up once this crazy excess $$$$ in our economy dies down or recedes. Don't want to make this a economy discussion,.. but certainly this thread is all about the "market". I for one actually hope it comes back. I believe there will be a lot of people, who once they own the car for a year or two, and don't drive it,.. will want to get rid of it (boredom, impatience, or just the desire to get their money back out of it).

so for those of you guys who are still looking for your own unicorn,... patience is key. I'm on your side & hope the supply comes back. The biggest question is when. How long does it take, and how much does the itch of being prepared with cash-in-hand take its toll on you. I have always had a BIG problem with that. If I've got $100+k sitting, waiting, ready to spend on a car,.. I have trouble with the patience side of the equation. Life's too short for me, and I've had too many people die around me,.. which has a big impact on psychie.

Friday morning presage.

Its a Porsche dealership.

Its being serviced. Needs tires and brakes that are getting done.
I'm trying to coordinate a flight out, but for a dealership the contact isn't being very helpful.

Very high price overall but it seems it has been in an accident.
Anyone know details?

Well said Steve! I got a lot of patience and will most likely wait for the right car. I know some people have told me to jump on the next one I see but I’m cool with waiting it out especially if supply starts going up and prices go down a bit. It’ll be worth the wait!

I don’t foresee the prices going down. It will probably stabilize but not go down. These are limited production cars that don’t come around too often. Heck, I’m still waiting for the sport Rolex grey market prices to come down. Every time I look, I see them go up. People have been forecasting for the market to crash for years. It’s been the opposite.

Lol. That ain't happening either. Hoard your GMTs and Subs while you can . . . Up 30% year over year on average.

I'm in Denver. If I can be helpful, please reach out.

They want me to wire a $10,000 deposit and sign a buyers order that says I will buy the car and the deposit is non-refundable.
No negotiations on the price obviously. Car has damage reported to CarFax ( SA says it was a hood repair for rock chips)
CPO only for another 4 months and 40k miles. I love black cars but they are arguable the least sought after.

I'm passing on this car if anyone wants the car be prepared for these terms. I have some photos the SA and @zshecht7792 sent me.
