If you showed them the evidence of damage and proof would that force their hand in disclosing it to others on their website? If I owned that dealership and found out I would have to take my lumps and be honest enough to not say original paint at least. Even if you don't disclose the accident.

Would you guys agree if a car is paint metered and most panels are within 3.5-4 Mils. If a 6.5 registers and no PPF, that would indicate a respray? Or is that within factory specs?
thx

I know even Mooty has mentioned though that he has seen instances of cars with repaints but factory level thickness. So always have to keep that in mind as well.

Former owner tracked it hard, maintained it ok, but less than I'd like.
I failed it once at tech inspection for having front rotor cracks hole to hole and out to the outer diameter.
nothing that can't be sorted with enough time and $$.

You could always threaten to put a picture of the wrecked car on their Yelp and Google Reviews page. That's pretty aggressive but not as aggressive as selling a wrecked car as original when you know better.

Who wants to call them on Monday and call them out on their description. They're saying no paintwork and no damage repair. Lol. Also, that car was below $80k at one point if I remember correctly.

Pics. Novak never told him. I did talk to him about price and if what he said is true. He is in the car car way too much.

current owner advert says, " never tracked this car, just canyon...............".
Former owner tracked it hard, maintained it ok, but less than I'd like.

I didn't see anything that concerning in those prior posts. It has pinned coolant pipes as well, fresh clutch, rebuilt LSD and some other nice mods (assuming it's as last sold). Sure, it's not perfect, but at least it's a documented 20K mile, no paint work, Silver RS car, and IMO, this is probably a better buy than these $125-$130K non-RS cars that are popping up left and right.

White .1 GT3 with 23k miles. PCCB, full leather with deviated stitching, and adaptive sports seats. $140k MSRP. Coolant lines were pinned I think and has an RS 4.0 clutch kit. Asking price is $106k. No VIN on ad.

Interesting. The paintwork wasn't and still isn't disclosed so it sounds like some additional due diligence is in order.
