Yeah I wouldn't pretend to assume it's a halfway point either. I sure do want one in a hypothetical dream garage though because I personally think it may be the best looking water cooled 911 they've produced.
cant argue with that. Wide body and no wing makes for a sweet looking ***.
Sorry, clicked the wrong button, meant to reply to the post about the slate grey 997.1 at AutoKennel, sold very quickly. The car seemed borderline collector-level, but hope it sold to someone who will drive it

I was in touch with Lupe as I was pretty hot on it, but have now decided to stick with my 991.2 (personal reasons).
They have essentially taken care of this car its entire life. There was an incident where it hit some debris. They have the full documentation of what was replaced.
The car looks stellar!
any thoughts on why this hasn't sold? do you think the minimal accident should drive down the price significantly? I've been in touch with them about this car and it does look pretty solid, the cdk breach seems to have affected this particular porsche dealership so they couldn't dig too dip into records for me. Just comparing it to that slate grey 1-owner for 149k though, which is a more rare color and with no accidents or mods, seems like it should be priced lower (although it is at a porsche stealership). I'm trying to buy a .1 to actually drive and hopefully own forever, but part of the sales PPT I've (literally) put together to convince my partner that this is a good decision involves saying it's basically a checking account worth the purchase value if we were to need it, lol. for the record she won't even drive her rivian on the highway or even cross a bridge, so needless to say the love of cars is not deep with her

$155 is pretty high for a car with damage IMO, even if well documented. The white one on BAT with paintwork all over it but a clean CarFax went for $143 plus fees.
There is a substantial % of potential buyers that are not interested in cars with prior damage, and my suspicion is that group may be the ones that would pay $155 for a .1, versus some of the recent ones we’ve seen in the 130s and 140s
I have photos of this car from 2013-2014. In first set in 2013 with the black wheels it doesn’t look too hot. The front lid and engine cover were popped plus it was dirty, but the hood looks a different color from the rest of the car. The second set of photos is from 6 months later when the car was cleaned up a bit.
The hood was wrapped black in those auction pictures along with those questionable painted wheels and smoked side marker lights. The car has original dealer installed partial ppf on the hood and fenders currently.
RFM has another .2 RS. This one is a white/red car with PCCB (rotors have been replaced with steels), FAL, and full leather. Looks like they bought it from Silver Arrow Cars and mileage with them was 27k.

It is looking great! Big improvement. Is it yours?

Good dealer. Saw the car when I was down there a couple of days ago. I could swing by for a closer look if that would be helpful.
Yes, I'm super happy that I was able to scoop it up!
Congrats on the acquisition! If you’re in the Boston area maybe I’ll see you at some event in the future with this beauty.
Remember seeing a Slate Grey .1 at Porsche’s at the Park up in Portland Maine a couple years ago. Talked to the owner and confirmed it was that color. Wonder if your car is the same one as not very made in that shade and spec from what I remember was very similar. My numbers only show 12 Slate Grey .1’s for North America. Didn’t get a chance to see the Carfax if it indicated previous ownership in Maine.

Mine was never registered in Maine, but that's awesome. There are not many of these in Slate grey and potentially that one is still in Maine!
The owner before me was in Upstate Ny. It saw some nice Watkins Glen time and was maintained at the Little Speed Shop in Rochester.
