Had mine in for emissions, with 4500 miles on it, they wrote 4,000. I rarely (obviously) drive this but luckily hadn't had it serviced between 4 and 4,500.

Hacks.

It's so easy for something to get screwed up, and it's just as easy to wreck a car, and keep it off car fax.

I always tell people, Carfax CAN alert you to a potential problem, but by no means guarantees that there isn't a problem

yup, owned my 4runner from new under my business name. closed business and had to transfer from my company name to my personal name...sent in transfer to DMV and they miss read the first digit from a 3 to an 8 on the mileage part....

so I was quite surprised when later I went to a ford dealer to trade it in and we worked the deal and then they ran the carfax and said wow you said 35k and carfax says 85k....I said look at odometer it's 35k...they agreed it was the transfer to DMV and they said it has happened before and they can change it but it takes like 6 months....they still took the trade in as 35k mile car and went ahead and started the paperwork change.

I have been looking for a 997 for a while and saw a 2007 .1 GT3 pop up with >60K miles. I rarely see high mileage GT3s up for sale. What is a fair price for a car like this? Also what is something to lookout for a higher mileage Gt3?

Thanks.

Does that include the buyer's premium? if so, WOW! Great deal if the car is indeed clean.

Always deals to be had in Monterrey. There is too much going on for market correct prices on every sale. I was always amazed at that when I was there in the past and i am sure it's even more the case now because it has only grown since I was there last, which is about 10 years ago.

Someone got a scoop and good for them. Scanning through the catalogues it seems there will be more disappointments for sellers, especially with be lofty estimates that have been set by eager auction houses.

If anyone else wants to sell me their 9k mile .2 rs for 165 I will buy it.

I would say he got a good deal, probably 10k less market value.

CNC was pushing it, $229 for a 9k mile car. Maybe in 5 years those miles will matter less but not when we have low miles .2RS selling at those prices.

Hammered at 165K at the last minute.
So "without" premium.
I checked their site for prior sales results and they are listed without it.
So more like 175K.

So just about right. Problem is that there was no PPI.

It looks like green now commands a $100k plus premium over orange:

https://www.mecum.com/lots/CA0816-24...he-911-gt3-rs/ Sold $280k

https://www.mecum.com/lots/CA0816-25...he-911-gt3-rs/ Sold $160k

They made a lot of orange. Clean orange are in that range all day long. Green... You don't see often. At all.

What is it about 7.1's that command a premium over the 7.2? According to the gt3rs registry, only about 100 more of the 7.2 were manufactured, so it's not rarity. Good for me as I've only been shopping around for the .2. But I don't get it.
