I'm getting a lot of heat for that. It's a genuine question. I've never seen a 997 GT3, ever, with so many range 1s.

Doug, are you aware of any reason why 997 gt3 range 1 starts so much above the rev limit? Why don’t their over-rev ranges start at the rev limit, as it would make most sense?

I too agree that your question and comments in the Marketplace were perfectly fine and not negative at all.

I wanted to post the video you made showing you bouncing off the rev limiter with no range 1’s. But I figured I should probably avoid.

I have no idea why. It's asinine, but I'm sure they have a reason for it.

Wow, 16,000 Range 1's. Either someone enjoyed this car or something else is up.

Not sure what counts for "enjoyment" but the only way it could get above the rev limit so regularly is by consistently downshifting too early into some turns over and over again. I think the rev limit doesn't work when the clutch is pressed down. Couldn't think of any other explanation. This would also imply a considerable time spent on track.

2007 GT3 RS just listed on our site today that is personally known to us and a very clean car. 14k miles, all services up-to-date, no paintwork, no overrevs. Priced to sell, $139,980.

Amazing how the market has shifted over the past 18 months and such a sweet car is now more affordable.
GLWTS, should not take long.

Yes. I mean no, that's not on Carfax, so it can't possibly be.

Not sure what this has to do with Carfax. Was just asking if the frunk hood was not fully closed on some of the pics as the gaps seemed bigger than usual.

My lame attempt at a joke. Yes the frunk was open.

You see that on tracked cars more often when they are shifting at redline every shift. He definitely got his money worth out of the that car.
