Still an attractive “driver” with lowish mileage. Doesn’t looked ragged out and the modifications seem minor and tasteful to the right buyer. Color is personal preference, but looks unique at least.

From a price standpoint I haven’t seen one in recent memory for lower price, cars that have looked rougher, have more miles, and more stories seem to still sell higher than this example. Unfortunately I’m sure this will be flipped rather than enjoyed as it should.

i guess I’m just jealous, i would definitely be a buyer at that price with fierce competition from others I’m sure. Just not good timing for me.

He offered a price where he thought he could make a decent profit but rest assured, there's no stories on this car. He doesn't have any additional info that wasn't disclosed on the auction. I laid everything out. Car was bought by a Porsche dealer and I'm sure will be listed soon at a much higher price. I was hoping for high $130s-140k but didn't happen. Oh well. Enjoying my race car for now. Maybe get something else in the future.

Doug actually put an offer on it before it went on BAT and didn't jump in to buy it, so must know something.

BUT....... look a little closer

1. Its not 100% original- Seats/suspension/track mods
2. Its obviously been tracked
3. Not the most desirable color combo IMHO
1) It has all the "right" mods.
2) It's a track car.
3) Subjective.

IMO, the buyer got a good deal.

I really wish dealers couldn’t bid on BAT. Seems almost counter to the essence of the idea

The idea of an open market? What?

Another GT3 RS on BAT...

2007 with 2,600 miles, black (orange striping) over black. This one won't go cheap...

I quite liked your car and like that color combo. Could have been a twin to another silver and orange in the area.
Sorry if my comment came off as suggesting you were hiding something.
Thought it would have reached the price range you mentioned too.

Yea, Doug needs to be able to make money on the car since he's not buying them to collect them.
Will be interesting to see what it gets relisted at by the dealer that bought it.

Paint inspection discovered paint work on the rear decklid area. Unknown to the seller (according to his post on BAT), but something happened to the car at some point. The seller said he is going to try to find more from the previous owners widow.

Doug - Do you fee the selling price is above/below market or about right?
I thought it was a bit below market - was expecting it to retail around the $135k mark, as did the seller. Apparently the buyer thought it was undervalued as well since it did go to a dealer.

Often times dealers pay more than retail buyers, as evidenced by this silver RS transaction. I'm pretty sure the sellers are happy to sell to the highest bidder regardless of the name on the contract.
