For the miles and history we've seen, it actually looks pretty clean to me other than some wear & tear.

Looks like it was imported from Puerto Rico in 2019.

If that's a real price with no stories, I bet it sells in 24 hours.

have they fallen or are these trade in dealers just trying make a reasonable 10k and be out so they don’t have to carry the bag… the majority of the used market seems to be getting a bit skiddish about inventory right now

Most of the time guys willing to trade questionable GT cars is because they don’t want to deal with this thread lol

1) I called on this for the hell of it this morning to buy it and beat on it for 3 months until my 3RS comes, and then realized it was stupid to buy this as these cars are old and can be headaches
2) Car market is in a bigg decline, monterey car week was a disaster (I was there) nothing is really selling
3) Ryan friedman or merit will proly this and put some lipstick on it as it is rough, I have pics from 8 hours ago

I wish I could post the video but, Front bumper, white part above the spoiler, looks not good
rear bumper has been hit and scuffed
left side has been scuffed and side skirts look like they came off a lot of track days and haven’t been cleaned much. Rotors are scored like it’s been tracked and probably not a lot of life on the rotor. Shifter boot is broke, piece is missing and nav screen is pretty much fully busted, and the side of the seat looks like 100k miles. The front tow hook cover looks suspect, maybe old ppf, or maybe sign front bumper got a respray

also it being a PR car is definitely a minus, I’d take a CA car over PR

if it was in good shape I proly would have bought it and tracked it this fall and dicked around with it for fun for a few months

if I could count the number of times I’ve said the same thing in the last 3-4 years when 1 or 2 GT cars were stolen…

…even if we had total market collapse I feel like “taking a drive in a 997 GT car” is going to be one of the alternatives to drinking

Those are minor cosmetics issues that could easily be freshen up on a 18 year old car. I think that car with those miles is still priced very aggressively.

it does show a statistically significant 8% drop in teh 996 GT market which is a good forward indicator of the 997, so I'd project since the 997.2 was the only car to increase 12-14% in the LTM that means that worst case scenario in 2026 is that we will be back down to 2023 prices...

What I got from those stats was that there was a serious market correction in the last 2 months and inventory is the only thing that insulated the 997... which means the dealers better be prepared to keep their cream puffs in the show room
