I'm thinking of listing my RS on one of the auction sites. But before I do I wanted to check here to see if anyone prefers first crack at it.
2007 RS Carrara white
26k miles
pccb's
pinned coolant lines
a very nice car
one of 40 white, one of 4 with this specific spec
some of you may have seen my thread on this car
it has a rebuilt title due to flood. there was only 1.5-2 inches of water in the car that burned out the rear control module so the insurance totaled it out.
see the thread here:
https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...at-copart.html
I've put about 5k miles on it with zero issues whatsoever
My idea is to list it with a reserve of $160-170k or somewhere in that neighborhood. If someone here prefers to buy it before I do that let me know. Otherwise it will go up for auction

Yes i sold the RS to a friend. He has been stalking me since I first bought it. Telling me that a white 7.1RS was his absolute halo car and kicked himself for passing on some when they were much cheaper.
at the end of the day, I feel I could definitely have gotten more than he paid me. But I’m OK with that. I had also promised him since day one that I wouldn’t do anything with the car unless he got first shot at it.
when the time came, we went back-and-forth on price a little bit. And we settled on a number that we both could live with. Like I said, I know I could’ve gotten more. But when you put good energy out into the world, it comes back and then some.
Besides, I am very happy keeping my red 7/3.
it’s amusing to me how people spend tens of thousands of dollars more than I was asking, and then spend another 10 grand on deferred maintenance. All while mine needed absolutely nothing. Yes mine has the title thing. But the car is rock solid and I will drive it till the wheels fall off.
The RS was drop dead gorgeous though.
But I’m in a good place

The funniest thing is that your title issue was one that was fully rectified. Honestly, at the point your got the car sorted, there was absolutely no difference between yours and a non branded RS. It wasn't like you had structural work or body work done to the car. It was a little water in the tub, that's it.
And, he's a completely transparent seller, as the car is ready to drive. As they say, 'buy the seller, not the car.' Or something to that effect lol

That's the irony of so many of these branded titles. If original owner performed the exact same repairs that Pedro did, the car would have a clean title and be good as new, and priced as new. But because he chose to call the insurance company instead of attempting to fix it, now the car is branded. Its still good as new, but now forever priced as a flood car. If you know the true history, you can really take advantage of these title brands and get phenomenal cars at huge discounts. Good work, Pedro. Also enjoyed your videos on this car.

Heck, the original owner could have had the insurance company foot the bill and not salvage it.

2011 GT3 with 5900 miles in the classifieds. Was previously listed when it had a gray wrap on it. Now back to factory finish. Looks like a beauty.
$220k ask.
