Ques: Is the leather from the Gen 1's indicative of the creases that develop on driver left bolsters (both the Merit Partners gen1 Pumpkin's seem quite bad for only +/- 6k miles)???
My gen 2 leather (driver left bolster) has twice the miles & still looks pristine compared to those two cars.
I realize that specific bolster receives all the stress of the driver getting in/out,... but still,... at approx 6k miles, I would think they should look a LOT better than that.

Not something to get hung up about too much if all else checks out.

Here is a pic of the bolster wear on my car when it had 15,500 miles on it. I removed those seats soon afterwards, conditioned the leather, and threw them in my office closet, where they sit and hopefully heal a wee bit. My white car with 40k on the clock, stock seats removed around 30k miles were actually in better condition than the ones that came in the orange car. I'll try to get a pic of the seats in the closet to see if they look better now

Agreed. Think the yellow goes along better with the white gold color of the wheels and enhances it a bit. The red still works, but doesn’t add that little bit extra. Think the red calipers look better with the red contrast cars as I don’t care for pairing red and yellow (red wheels and yellow calipers) together, though on the .2 RS it doesn’t bother me a ton as I’ve gotten used to it.
