look at the amount of peppering on the hood and windshield. Look at the amount of debris dings on the radiators. The front bumper was definitely repainted. Not a mark on it while everything around it is peppered. I can’t see how this car only traveled 4600 miles based on amount of wear on the front clip, interior, and underside. Even if all 4600 miles were in the winter on the NYS through way behind a salter truck, I still can’t see how the inside got so worn.

All the black soot on the rear of the engine is most likely asphalt and would explain the dark oil color on all the control arms, also explains the splitter and peppering. I don’t think this car has ever seen an actual road or it would be cleaner. Track would also explain the shoulder bolster as you get in and out way more often per mile than normal.
being rolled back would be unlikely but it’s possible to swap ECUs as they arnt rare and then use PIWIS to config it, however there could be subtle indicators of higher mileage heat cycles in the engine if someone looks hard, yellowing coolant tank, cracking EPA stickers, O2 sensors ends, brake pads…

This car looks like a track car in NY from mile 0-3700 and flipped after that with no real owner or wash since… full service at 2500 miles gives it away.

This one looks much better but is certainly not your typical 5k mile cream puff. The interior doesn't look too bad save for the steering wheel/center console scratches and bolster wear. I'm guessing it's not rolled back ... probably owned by a heavier set guy that was careless with it and most/all miles are track miles. Would love to see the DME operating hour counter.
also, what kind of dolt dealership doesn't detail a car before putting it up for auction/sale? Makes zero sense.

Reminds me of that 10k mile atlas gray 997.2 GT3 that was for sale forever. Couldn't believe how trashed it was cosmetically when I laid eyes on it in person. Mechanically it wasn't much better even though it had tens of thousand of dollars in maintenance and repairs/mods. 10k miles on track takes a heavy toll.

Some of these non-specialty dealers forget that low mileage only matters when it represents the condition of the car. Typically, low mileage is worth more because it represents a car with much less use and thus closer to as-new condition. When that relationship is broken, low mileage means very little. Most people would buy a 20k mile cream puff over a 5k mile rat. Not saying this car here is a rat, but the condition is certainly not commensurate with the mileage, and therefore I don’t expect that a low mileage premium will be paid.

buyer will be happy they know what they are getting but black is such a hard color to own if its peppered… hard to unsee it. It’s got PPF in the right spots so it might be just fine minus the hood?
when a passenger bolster is worn at this many miles it tells me either
1) an instructor sat there a lot
2) these seats arnt original and he had LWBS and put in higher mileage seats to sell it

They posted one finally, All 0's but implies 23.6 avg MPH. Does that seem low? (195.6 hrs, 4,602 miles). IIRC most DMEs imply 35-ish MPH given highways and backroads. 23.6 implies a lot of very slow driving?
