Because I'm sure they would sell for the right price but also they're "investments" since they are one of the market makers in this particular segment. So take four rare cars off the market and continue to set high prices for the other ones that pass through there.

In the Lamborghini Huracan world, mileage stoppers are pretty prevalent. Porsche even put out a document at one point warning of mileage stopping devices. Typically if you start reading other ECU’s in the car, you can find the mileage won’t match. Seeing the DME would be helpful to see if operating hours makes sense. Not sure how a mileage stopper would affect that.

I think it's nice for being stored outside, or if not outside it appears to still had a treatment of the elements on the engine.
