The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...
![Default](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/icons/icon1.gif)
I agree with Doug. And I have read all the BAT verbiage, most of it is blah blah…
I have a friend that that wants to buy this car for his first Porsche. He is a hardcore car guy and we both own some identical other hardcore cars.
A 997.2GT3RS would fit him well, and the SW4.1 would be absolutely perfect. Anyone has seen the car?
some RL input please.

if you’re interested in a well-maintained grey black track rat, my friend’s father is looking to sell his. Off market, so feel free to dm me. I almost bought his but pulled the trigger on a deal that was too good to pass up.

Speaking of 2018 I remember when this was listed and felt mildly expensive. No PCCBs but still think about this one once in a while.

Still, I hear this. I passed on a pretty decent ~$95k 997.1 to buy an $80k 981 GT4 in 2020. Whoops.

For a number of years, instead of swapping to winter wheels I would just swap to a GTR on winter wheels and store the 997.2 in climate controlled off site storage.
But as we got out of autocross (daughter was born), we had less and less use for the storage unit so we downsized.
We have a 2018 991.2 with a pathetic 4000 miles on it in the 3rd bay, the 997.2 in the second bay and the wife’s Taycan Turbo in the first bay.
So I was just so mad at the garage queens taking up space! My wife and I talked about which one to sell and for where we are in our lives, we figured someone else could enjoy the 997.2 more than we could these days.

It's a Guards red .2 with 11,000 miles, full leather and buckets. A Deal for the buyer.

i though so too. Figured it might hit 200. Heard from several people who were bidding that the seller was non responsive to any DMs. May have kept confidence below the level to bid absolute top dollar.

Just thought I'd add some additional info on the following two 7.1 GT3's that are for sale currently on Autotrader...
WP0AC29967S793229 - Looks like theres a DME report of 34 over-revs on Range 1 - 125.9h but the report doesn't show total Operating Hours (so take it with a grain of salt) otherwise coolant pipes have been pinned as confirmed by Kevin. The previous owner had traded the car in for a 2014 911 50th anniversary and seemed to have primarily resided in N. Carolina before its trade in. Exhaust is Sharkwerks, and the original exhaust is included if purchased.
WP0AC29927S792840 - Dealership doesn't know anything about this car and assumed the car is stock including wheels, had to show them examples of where to find their coolant pipes to see if it was worked on, looks like it was never welded or pinned. Exhaust is aftermarket believe it was Sharkwerks when we spoke via phone. Also no DME on hand and no original parts included with the sale.
Both cars seem to be pretty stripped down in terms of options but the first vehicle seems like the best bang for your buck. Still ruminating on purchasing it for myself but wondering what other GT3's may turn up as I really am looking for one with PCCB.

for some reason I thought I had some records on that car, people in the auction were asking… he wanted $160 for it and I had the DME, no time to dig today though

11k-mile Carrara White .2 RS. Very low option car and is a graphics delete example. Priced current at $290k. Was on BaT in October of 2021. Had then suspension mods (not sure if it still has this), an M&M center muffler (still has this), and a GMG roll bar (has been removed but carpet has not been replaced as still cuts in it).
