hahaha I have such a soft spot for the 997 GT cars, I really do love them. I don't know if we ever got stall anxiety with ours, but the Porsche enthusiast especially the 993 people at the time called the car too planted, not a "real" rear engine car, engineered all the fun out, electric gizmo nannys, etc. So that rhetoric has been around forever...I love the 993, 997, 991,718 really all of them

Also, my 991.2 gt3rs (albeit with the vaccum hose detatched) was much much louder than any stock 997 gt3/rs I drove....I missed manual tho. NOTHING is like a manual RS I am very jealous of anyone that has one....997.1 or .2 RS would probably be my favorite older Porsche, that and I LOVE the 993's....I think I just love Porsche's haha But 997 RS is definitely up there

If I could order any Porsche new today from stuttgart today, it would probably be a 997.1 RS pumpkin...

Very unprofessional way you are handling this. Doug is one of the most respected and knowledgeable people in this sector of cars. Very rarely have I heard people have anything bad to say about him. Your dealer on the other hand I hear a lot of mixed reviews about. Massively overpricing cars when the car or your dealers reputation don’t warrant it and also selling multiple storied cars without proper disclosure when often it doesn’t take an expert to find out something is wrong with them. Just entering the VIN on Google can tell enough yet you guys still deny any knowledge. I’ve heard you guys give the excuse that you don’t have time to properly assess cars and it’s simply not a valid reason for selling storied cars on multiple occasions. You guys should just stop commenting on here and BaT as you’re just validating why people should never do business with your dealer.

Grand Prix already puts a sour taste in one of the largest GT communities in the Country, but with comments like this... 🤷🏽‍♂️

Yes and for my next 997 GT addition I will be sure to cross shop an escalade.

Don't hate GPM.
They are just used car dealers with all that implies.
caveat emptor indeed
( I would not buy from them either)
remember the gray black 7.2 RS they brokered ~ 2 years ago?
Street car, turned into a race / cup car, then back to street in a shoddy manner.

and it was the cheapest on the market and everyone knew the story. Should that car have gone to the crusher?? I recommend to most of our customers to check out the technical threads on Rennlist, and to get a laugh out of the market experts in threads like this.

signing off… cheers!

That escalated quickly, and with predictable results.

The basket case that someone ended up returning and getting a full refund as the car was such a troublesome turd of an example. GP Motors has had that one in their inventory at least twice. I wouldn’t even buy that car as a track rat. That car is all over this thread about how poor of an example it is.

This is an appropriate picture for what is happening to GP in this thread. I think the old adage quit while you're ahead comes to mind.

That comment, made by 503 was pretty disrespectful the the Rennlist community, however it kinda backfires as he's selling those exact same cars he's putting down.
