Thoughts on the white GTS that Ryan Friedman has? Seems to be priced a little high, but it has every option I'm looking for, mainly white exterior, full leather and a 6mt.

$35k, 2007 997 Turbo, manual, 60k miles, clean carfax

This is the cheapest 997 Turbo with manual transmission and a clean carfax I have ever seen.
I have no affiliation to this car or seller. It popped up on my Facebook marketplace feed yesterday.
Car was registered in NC, CA, and then TX, and is now for sale in Ocala, FL.

There must be a story here, right?
I sent the dealer a request for the over rev report. No response yet.

I was looking for 991.1 PDK but this car has me thinking...

i’m in Florida and called the dealer about the car about a week ago. They said it was no longer available. The dealership website looks sketchy, they have a lot of cars with fuzzy pictures and questionable prices.

I would jump on it. Decent car. Miles a little high for big premium price tag. They have about $75k including pack in it. I would offer $75k. They make take it.

Ryan can be stubborn. Given market conditions I would offer 5-8k minus his listed price as a starting point and go from there.

Thanks @acr89. I guess it was too good to be true. Either that or someone got a good deal.
The rear tail lights don't look stock so makes me wonder if there was rear end damage.

It's a scam website. Just created on 3/16/20 Reviews say it's an auto repair shop, not a dealer. All their cars are way too cheap.

F*cking Russian mob deal. Again.

I had reached out to them last week and Ryan said he would not entertain anything less than $75K.

We’ll see how long that lasts.

I unfollowed Friedman and Udrive on Instagram because they’ve both been spamming 30+ story posts virtually every day. If they’re so comfortable with their inventories then why are they acting so desperate?

I've gotten a lot of info about that car and the passenger side door and rear quarter panel has been repainted. Sounds like something minor but worth noting. The rest of the car sounds nice. I was thinking of dropping a number in the low 70s but will hold off a bit.

That may explain why it sat before the pandemic. Paint on the panels is a huge deal. They paid $73.Xk for it. Then you have to factor in shipping costs and they will have pack costs in it as well. That is how I came up with the $75.

Curious how you got the info on the paintwork. Did Friedman disclose it or do you know this from when the car was sold by the dealer in TX? BTW, it think he got it for under 70.

I was working with someone from the shop (Mike - really nice guy and very responsive) and asked if they had paint meter readings. He sent pictures of the readings from all over the car.

On price, they listed for $73.X late one evening after hours and 2 guys on this thread said they called about it as soon as dealer opened next morning only to to have sales person call them back and say it was sold. I think someone said they had something like 7 or 8 calls for it when they opened up the next morning. Not sure dealer would have reduced the price when car had listed for less than 12 hours and they got so many calls. Just assumption in my part and I could have this mixed up.

I saw it for $72k as well: I don't know why they would take an offer with a ton of interest within a few hours of listing. He probably didn't know about the repaint though; RF's loss, not the buyer's loss. As was stated earlier: it doesn't matter what he paid: it only matters what someone is willing to pay for it.

Someone go get it for low 70's.
