This car could be a great opportunity for someone wanting a sweet 997.2 manual with only 23k miles.

Looks like a very nice car. The underside looks like a rust belt car driven in the winter. The bolts will be a bitch to remove when any repairs/mods are done.

Just click the drop down and you have the 18" and 19" options. They recommend the 19" option for the 997 I believe.

My logic is the very new 992 and 991 cars will suffer big depreciation hit , and likely suppress values of 997.2s and 997.1s even. Even 996s will retreat again, I reckon, and 993s.

Or? Actually how did 993s fair during 2007-8?

Here's a nice GT3 tribute on a 2010 S manual w/ 0k miles I'm sure it won't meet reserve on pcarmarket. I don't think they get a lot of action just yet https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/2...972-carerra-s/

That's cool and all...but wouldn't it make sense to have a PDK "GT3 Tribute"? They're faster on the track and Porsche didn't make a PDK GT3 so that would make it stand out for a certain buyer.

Wow I'm really surprised it did not sell here. Seemed like a perfect enthusiast car. Maybe the economy is hurting specialized cars.

Wow, he started pricing at $88k. Cars with this much aftermarket stuff, especially a roll bar, have a very narrow market and don't really warrant a huge price premium. His last price of $64k is a good and fair price and I am all about hot roding cars. I think it might be a tough sell even at $64k. Its great he has all the original parts though. This is just one of the cars 99% of us car guys look at and drool over, but would never pull the trigger on.

He has only had the car since February 2019 if Carfax is accurate. This looks like a fire sale with that drastic drop in price and trying to sell in this market. Someone might could get a great deal.

He has one price for as is, and another price if you let him disassemble it back to stock.

That sale is a cluster-fk.

But you get the roll-cage either way if that's a plus or minus for you.

But from what I see he still wants $88k with the mods, right? The $64k was after removing a bunch of stuff. He kind of painted himself into a corner.

If it was PDK at least he could capture the few people who wanted a PDK GT3. Alas it's not...but still a very cool track/street build.
