UPDATE 3/16/2020: Car now has Fabspeed Equal Length Headers with HJS 200CEL Cats. (NOT SHOWN IN UNDERCARRIAGE PICTURES)
Over $34,000 In parts alone:
Up for your consideration is an immaculate 3 Owner 2010 Porsche Carrera S finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with Black Leather Interior. The car was purchased from RAC Performance in Carrollton, TX on March 2nd, 2019 for $61,000.00 USD in stock form. My intentions were to find a garage kept, low mile gem and add quality OEM Porsche GT parts along with other performance oriented components all while maintaining the comforts, drivability, and reliability of the second generation 997 Carrera. This car has never been tracked or abused but simply a fun and aesthetically pleasing weekend car. I encourage a Pre Purchase inspection for potential buyers to further showcase and validate this car's spectacular condition! All add-ons have 1,000 Miles or less on them. The wheels were removed just to take these photos and show how clean the undercarriage is.
The car really needs to be seen in person because pictures don't do it any justice.
THE GOOD
- Looks like it nearly just came off the showroom
- Garage Kept
- No Rock Chips
- Interior smells new
- Interior isn't smeared with greasy shine products
- No Accidents
- 3 Owner
- All factory parts included
A beautiful 2.5" one-off, Stainless, Tig welded, V-band center exit exhaust was fitted to accommodate the Factory Euro Spec GT3 Rear Bumper. The result is an intoxicating symphony with zero drone thanks to the overall length, X section, and two Vibrant Ultra Quiet Mufflers.
XPEL Ultimate Plus Paint Protection Film was professionally applied to the entire Front End which includes:
Full Front Bumper (immediately after paint cured)
Full Hood (Replaced the original Dealer installed Paint Protection Film)
Full Fenders (Replaced the original Dealer installed Paint Protection Film)
Full Front Wheel Arches (immediately after paint cured)
Side View Mirror Caps (Replaced the original Dealer installed Paint Protection Film)
Lamin-X Paint Protection Film was professionally applied to the following parts:
Headlights (Replaced the original Dealer installed Paint Protection Film)
LED Front Bumper Lights (Replaced the original Dealer installed Paint Protection Film)
Rear Wheel Arches (Replaced the original Dealer installed Paint Protection Film)
This Carrera S has a original price of $100,285.00 USD and is Factory Equipped with the following:
Sports Chrono Package Plus
Bose High End Sound Package
Alcantara Headliner
XM Radio
Self Dimming Mirrors
Black Standard Leather
Power Comfort Seats w/ Driver Memory
Heated Front Seats
Seat Ventilation
Bluetooth Phone Interface
Navigation Module for PCM
Universal Audio Interface
All other parts added (listed in .PDF Spreadsheet link above^)were purchased brand new with no corners being cut throughout the entire process. The best part is, all of these add-ons are completely reversible giving the next owner the ability to bring this Carrera back to stock form! All paint and prep work was done professionally by the Porsche restoration specialist of Road Scholars out of Durham, NC. There was no blending of paint worked onto the body of this car. Every part was painted while off of the vehicle so the actual body of the car remains untouched.
Every original Factory part removed has been preserved and put away for the next owner.
All the Factory parts that come with the car were removed at 25,000 Miles(Shown in Photo Gallery): - Factory Front Bumper with ZERO imperfections (Clear bra was applied new since showroom in 2010. Was removed due to age after I brought the car home)
- Factory Rear Bumper with ZERO imperfections
- Factory Left and Right Air Laterals
- Factory Decklid/Spoiler with ZERO imperfections
- Factory Exhaust with ZERO rust
- Factory PASM Front and Rear Suspension with ZERO issues
- Factory Carrera S Wheels (painted gloss black with some minor chips/imperfections) + Michelin Pilot Sport Tires (Fronts tires with plenty of life left/Rears will need replacement)
- Factory Replacement Sebro Front and Rear Rotors with Hawk Ceramic Pads (100 Miles on them before deciding to Upgrade)
- Factory Front Calipers Professionally Painted Speed Yellow (Never Installed after paint)
- Factory Front Brake Lines
- Factory Rear Seats (Don't look to have ever been sat in)
This Carrera S has a list of previous service records from RAC Performance prior to purchase and it is currently up to date. Services I had performed less than 1,000 Miles ago for peace of mind are:
Transmission Fluid Service with Factory Porsche Fluid
Oil Change with Motul Synthetic 5W40 and MANN Filter
Brake Fluid Flush with ATE Type 200 Brake Fluid
*Willing to Ship the vehicle at Buyers Expense

Also, excellent “for sale” post here. Tons of pics, well written, window sticker and mod list in appendix. People should use this post as a FS template.
Might be silly of me but I highly correlate the amount of care put into a FS thread with the level of care put into the car they are looking to sell.
Beautiful example with the perfect set of mods. As I was reading through the thread I was thinking this is very tempting, great deal with all the tasteful mods. Then I saw the last line. Very curious to see if this moves at the asking price with mods. No doubt the mods cost at least $24k but $88k is close to what a legit 997.2 GT3 is going for. FWIW I think $64k is fair in stock form just not sure someone will pay the extra $24k for the mods, but you never know. Typically, you never get back the initial investment of mods come resale time. Glws op. Beautiful 7.2 here.

Thank you for the kind words. We shall see if it moves or not, selling for the $88k I still lose $4k regardless (within an extremely short time frame) I completely understand “you don’t get what you put into it” but if you were to put this together from scratch, with a car in this condition (which is pretty rare to find now days) and purchasing all parts brand new, you’d spend well over $92k assuming you did all the labor yourself.
As for the .2 GT3’s all around or under the $100k mark, they are usually tracked heavy (given that’s what they are for) and/or in “ok” condition. All depends on what’s important to you.
Again in we shall see, I’m in no rush to sell but would like to free up some funds to expand my business.
Beautifully executed modded 997.2, it would sell as is @ $70k - $75k probably. $88k is steep given what you can get out there for that price. 997.1 GT3s can be had for that kind of money and 30k miles pretty easily.

Next time I sell a car, can I pay you to put the ad together? Seriously, this is the benchmark of how ads should be. Great car in its own rite, but if the ad is any indication of how the car was maintained and taken care of, you’ll have no problem selling the car.
Very nicely put together car, and ad! I appreciate your contacting me as i am currently in the market for a 997.2. While looking at all the pics and reading your listing i was getting ever more excited till that last line, yep you weren't giving away all those mods after all, ha! Still the car has turned out beautiful and i wish you success in the sale, meanwhile you got one special car to drive.
I am in the market for a 997.2 C2S manual. I have spoken to the buyer at length in regards to the build. I personally can’t justify paying all the money for the car but I can confirm that he is as thoughtful as his build and ad. Very cool individual and hope that he gets all the money!!!

Thank you for the compliments! Figured I’d reach out.
I am going to move the prices up to the top as I can now see that being misleading where it is now.

Yeah, considering there are 2010 GT3 models listed here for low 90's, you have come competition there!
Why not just have RAC consign it back? They are pretty reasonable if I remember correct. Dallas Motorsports is a great option: they are 5% and move cars.
