My thinking here, as a wife, is that if your wife is not already driving around in a $100,000.00 car then you don't deserve the GT3 either. If your wife doesn't like cars, then your not off the hook and I would put equal funds towards the house or whatever is important to her. I know not the answer you wanted, but just because a "wife" doesn't want an expensive car or motorcycle doesn't mean you get one either. Sorry. Hubby and I both have Porsches, but 2 used ones of approximately equal cost.

Thanks for the input. She just got a new X5 and domicile under way. Not bragging, but just addressing your post. Thanks.
I guess the answer is no.

Well! Nice car for her! I myself was ready to test drive a used GT3 the other week but it sold. decided against getting into more debt. And realized I already have a nice car. So I do see why one would want a GT3. Anyhow, things happen for a reason Good luck!

Am I missing something here? I sold my '09 C2S 6MT with 13,000 miles and full leather for only 2 grand more! $57,500+fee for a 997.1 C2S with 35,000 miles? Is BAT being used to launder money?

Really bad purchase for that buyer. Nice car but not that nice. On the other side, I think this one was way undersold.

2009 Cab <-- Keep in mind multiple owners, and 2 carfax dings. To me, it should still have been in the 40's.

I agree! That is a nice car. I don't know about 40's, as I paid $45,500 for my 31k manual C4 997.2 (no accidents) but at least high 30's. It doesn't look like the seller had much in the way of documentation on the accidents however. It likely didn't help the sale price

Seems like the cab factor plus two undocumented rear end collisions factored in heavily.

The one owner C2S was an emotional buy, but there must have been at least 2 people willing to pay over $55k for a 997.1S

I think really bad is an understatement. That is within spitting distance of what I paid for my GTS with fewer miles on it. Even if they keep it 20 years it still will not be worth what they just paid. But! Buying a car for the enjoyment has a lot of value.

OK, so forget posting my 997.2 manual C4S here and throw it up on BAT instead?

I don't follow the cab market; do 997.2 GTS models track the coupe numbers, or are they more of a commodity and not as desirable? Nice build on a manual GTS cab red. Price perhaps a little high for the mileage though? It seems like a 991 cab could easily be had with that mileage for $5k less (I know, 997 vs 991).

This GTS was listed less than 2 months ago at dealer for $58K. See my post above on missing out on this deal. Looks like a flip of WP0CB2A99BS754702.

I thought $65k sounded high. $58k is a good deal though.

Default 911 butt looks similar

that new 911 butt looks familiar. I guess it will grow on me.
