I ordered a GT3T in the same color as my old 997,2, my wife looked at the new car a few times and hasn’t noticed

Wouldn't it be best to buy now at the beginning of the winter? Just thinking that most folks that don't drive in "weather" would want to make the garage room for spring? At least I'm hoping for that. It might take some time for folks to make a 992 decision. I know I would take my time before jumping into a 992, but heck, here I am looking for a 997.2 after all these years.

Default Lead...

I have lead on this car.... price seems really aggressive, wondering if it’s got issues. Can anyone run the vin? Gonna go see it tomorrow.

Bad link?

I definitely see more aggressive pricing this time of year. $2-4k less than Spring-Summer pricing. Not "giveaway" however.

I have an offer of 47K on my C4S cab. It has a manual trans and 55000 miles. Year left of CPO and 60 K service done. Zero over-revs, and zero issues. $123K build. Very clean. Is that fair for a cab in December? Is it worth 50K? Thanks for any advise.

I'm not an expert in the market, but I think that's fair vs. a tad low. Having the service done and having CPO left is definitely worth a premium, plus that's a well-optioned build. You can probably get 50 when the weather is more cab-friendly.

Maybe I should add that I am the fourth owner. I know that is important to many buyers.

Yeah, probably $50-52k in the spring. Then again, storage, insurance till then....$47k is reasonable for this time of year.

997.2 TTS cab at Carmax.

Assuming nothing is wrong, $80k for a 2012 Turbo S at 40,000 miles seems like a very good deal! Non-transferable, which basically means if you can't drive down to pay for it (and live in FL), they won't release it to you.

IMHO, after looking at 997.2 4S listings on autotrader, $47k seems low. Saw ur car listed there at $57.9k. Not sure what to suggest but seems w/ CPO and clean records you should be able to get at least $50k.

seems real low. I have been looking for a 997.2 4S for two years. I would try mid to high 50s.

I agree, seems very low assuming it’s a private sale and not a wholesale to a dealer. If you don’t need to sell now, wait until spring and I think 55 would not be out of line.

Cabs are definitely a smaller market than coupes and our market is small, but it only takes one buyer.
