Assuming it’s techart and bumper it wasn’t replaced due to a wreck, then some people will appreciate it. I think it looks a little sportier, but not everyone will concur.

I like the techart rear bumper but not a fan of the front bumper especially with that smiley face air vent on top.

I like it too.

Mahogany isn't the same color, but not too far off, and that gorgeous GT3 listed a few months back in Mahogany never sold. It is possibly the best 991.1 GT3 I have seen; the color is simply stunning.

Do the aftermarket bumper negatively effect the pricing? I think they look good but I'm searching for my first Porsche and don't want to buy something that I'll regret later. How about the pricing? about $5,000 too high?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
You can always trade someone for a standard bumper if you don't like it. I don't think it hurts pricing to the right buyer.

IMHO it would be worth that price if it was factory Aero. The fit looks a bit weird to me.

Plenty of stock configured 09-10 base carreras to be had in the mid-high 30's.

It's time for my Maritime Blue (38B) Paint to Sample '06 Carrera to go on the market, should I remove the 4.0 stripe before I begin marketing the car?
This unique manual coupe has 30k miles, PASM, 19" wheels, Sport Chrono, heated sport seats, a painted center consol & an updated 997.2 steering wheel.
I've a Touring that's incoming.

I have these bumpers on my car. I actually didnt know they were on there until I drove to buy it. I actually really like them in person, although I don't feel the bumpers are flattering in the photos posted in those links. I think they were made by a firm named NR auto. https://nrauto.com/product/porsche-g...e-rear-bumper/ EDIT: Just saw he listed them as TechArt. No idea if that is accurate or not....

I have gotten a lot of compliments on them, and they get rid of those bulbous bumper-ettes on the back of the car. Would I have purchased it myself? No, but it doesn't bother me that much. I actually prefer the front GT3 style bumper, the rear I could take or leave, honestly. The previous owner also changed the font on the back to a 991 font. You do have to really watch the front of the car, as it will scrape easily, especially if you lower the car. Also, its kinda nice having something a little different than every other C2 or C2S out there. But, it has to be done tastefully and the paint and fit needs to be on point.

Here is a picture of my car for reference with the same bumpers.

I bought the car over 3 years ago CPO'd just like this. Dealer said they got a lot of interest on the car, FWIW. Hope this helps.

How many miles on those? I usually see manuals in the low $40's at best; 50k mile 997.1 models are mid to high 30's.
