Here's another high mileage but low price C2S 2008. Does have a Tiptronic but I can totally live with that. Check out the free Carfax on it, can someone tell me what the "service contract inssued" mean during 74k and 104k miles mean?

Looks to me like the person who bought it in 2014 purchased a third party warranty of some sort for it, and made some claims.

Meaning a major break down from the car and had to use the extended warranty for repair?

There is a thread open on this right now, not working for many, still working for some. Apparently Firefox still works fine, I haven't tried it yet.

Not necessarily, of course not knowing the details of their exact policy, they can be pretty comprehensive, could be a windshield motor, hood latch, malfunctioning light, just about anything as far as I know.

Look up Doug Demuro Carmax range rover warranty on youtube to get an idea what these third party warranties will cover!

Here is another good looking ride, 05 C2 6sp, 83k mi, $29k, Carmon Red over Grey https://www.uabcars.com/detail-2005-...-17546034.html

Or how about an 06 C2 6 sp, slate grey over black, 112k miles, asking $23k: https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...modelCode1=911

This car seems like a good deal ($42.5) but my suspicions are its been driven hard. (front pads and rotors at new rear tires at 34k miles - seems like a sign of aggressive driving ) 2009 C4S 37,000 miles

If you feel it was driven hard, that is a good thing. Given it was from Hoehn and serviced at Black Forest indicates it was well taken care of. There are plenty of nice canyons to rip on around here so the fact that they lated 34K miles indicates it wasn't driven that hard.

Looks like a steal if the car checks out and is legit!

That is a nice car and great price. If it's even close to what you want, I would be putting down. A deposit and scheduling a ppi.

You may want to proceed carefully with that listing. The same car (with the same images and same disclosed mileage) was listed for sale by a San Diego Rennlist member in December 2017, asking $54k. https://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-...-cln-ttle.html

The VIN also shows up as for sale at an IL dealership.

Not saying it isn't legit, but there are some red flags.
