thanks for the advice. love how it looks on your car! i'll have a look in to the tyre options. the local shops have all advised on 295/35/18 pilotsport ps2 N
Suncoast “kit” is $4150 shipped and a local paint shop painted it for about $500. Plenty of aggravation though, not sure how to price that!
Suncoast’s description is that their kit is everything to convert to the .2, but it doesn’t come with a parts list and has required quite a bit of extra effort and ordering additional parts to get it sorted.
The headlight washer hose from the .1 isn’t long enough to fit the .2, the FVD harness didn’t come with instructions (had to ask for them and they aren’t really helpful) and didn’t look like it was going to stretch far enough so we’ve had to route it differently, screws required to mount the LEDs to the bumper weren’t included (they are $10 a piece!) to name a few.
The description says to reuse components from the .1 bumper and that some additional parts may be required - think it would have been less frustrating if there was a list of parts necessary and if they weren’t provided then at least we would know what to order.
The heartbreaking thing was that where the lower air guide connects actually cracked, either in transit, or to the painters and wasn't seen until after it had been painted. Without a known cause I was forced to find a way to repair and repaint.
I really dig the look of the front of the .2 so I’m happy with how it looks now, but has been a bit of a saga to get it right. If someone were to order this kit I would demand a parts list.
Its a shame that Suncoast of all places can't actually provide a complete kit to do the swap.
What baffles my mind is why all the 997.2 GT3 and GTS bumpers have completely disappeared after they climbed in prices for the last few years....
And even the front lips have tripled in price.

Amen! You can get any other aero/gt3 kit including 997.1 any time, but the 997.2 is NA everywhere.
Just absolutely obscene price increases for an expendable item that might have to be eventually replaced... even if careful. And shipping, due to over-size box dimensions, is another gob-smacker.
A 997.2 Carrera Aerokit has been absolute unobtanium for years now, as well.
EMC2 front spoiler installed. Now she’s a bit of a Frankenstein - 997.1 with 997.2 front bumper and 991 front spoiler, but I really like the look! Now the “kit” from EMC2 is very well designed, installs easily and the support from their team is great. Suncoast could learn a lot from them!
just got myself some wheels as a bday treat. used but look to be in good condition. planned up a bit of simple DIY for this years upcoming service cycle. ceratec and mobil 1 ready, need to paint the calipers too and stop procrastinating removing front bumper to clean up the radiators.
can't wait to put them on when they arrive. going from the stock 10.5" wide rims to 11" width so seems i'll sadly need to get new pair of rear pilot sports as my stock ones are 265/40/18,, real shame because i only recently got them but atleast can reuse the fronts.
Are those Victors? I believe I have a set in 18" lying around waiting for all season rubber to go on later this year.
Thanks for the field report that Magnagraik (and hopefully Dan) are back in the saddle and making these great products again in a timely manner!
I've had nothing but great utility from these stone guards: I feel that the material / process that Dan utilizes makes the best, long-lasting product.
Remember that they are best removed for cleaning both the material and leading edges where dirt will collect...
Glad he's back. Unfortunately I couldn't wait so I got a set from TX Targa on Rennlist. His are a little bit larger than the magnagrafik version. So far they've held up at around 90mph or so.

yes indeed. victor equipment turismo set.
today i got started on my yearly service. alongside some planned painting of the calipers to help them pop a bit when the new wheels arrive.
just managed to jack up and do Oil flush/change with some ceratec and mobil1 today.
todo: engine mounts, Air filter, change front brake pads, coil packs and spark plugs (hopefully this won’t turn out to be very annoying, want to try do it without removing the muffler as that was a pain last time I did).
Later on the to do list is water pump, drive belt and changing the brake fluid but hopefully will find some help for that from a nearby friend who is a bit more experienced doing this kind of work
