I'm on the fence about lowering it. I really like the look but there seems to be a lot of conflicting information about PASM and lowering.
no conflict at all. It’s been done 10k times and the outcome is actually better… springs alone will get you to a safe lowering spot and you won’t lose hardly any ride quality IF your struts are worthy
just got myself some wheels as a bday treat. used but look to be in good condition. planned up a bit of simple DIY for this years upcoming service cycle. ceratec and mobil 1 ready, need to paint the calipers too and stop procrastinating removing front bumper to clean up the radiators.
can't wait to put them on when they arrive. going from the stock 10.5" wide rims to 11" width so seems i'll sadly need to get new pair of rear pilot sports as my stock ones are 265/40/18,, real shame because i only recently got them but atleast can reuse the fronts.

Victor Equipment Tsunami?
Great find as they're no longer made. Have them on our 944 S2.
With that 11" rear you can move up to a 305 width tire and it will look great.
BTW, there are much better choices for your oil than Mobil though. Driven DT40 if a .1 or DI40 if a .2 or Motul xcess as examples.
how much did you end up spending all in? Looks great.
Suncoast “kit” is $4150 shipped and a local paint shop painted it for about $500. Plenty of aggravation though, not sure how to price that!
Suncoast’s description is that their kit is everything to convert to the .2, but it doesn’t come with a parts list and has required quite a bit of extra effort and ordering additional parts to get it sorted.
The headlight washer hose from the .1 isn’t long enough to fit the .2, the FVD harness didn’t come with instructions (had to ask for them and they aren’t really helpful) and didn’t look like it was going to stretch far enough so we’ve had to route it differently, screws required to mount the LEDs to the bumper weren’t included (they are $10 a piece!) to name a few.
The description says to reuse components from the .1 bumper and that some additional parts may be required - think it would have been less frustrating if there was a list of parts necessary and if they weren’t provided then at least we would know what to order.
The heartbreaking thing was that where the lower air guide connects actually cracked, either in transit, or to the painters and wasn't seen until after it had been painted. Without a known cause I was forced to find a way to repair and repaint.
I really dig the look of the front of the .2 so I’m happy with how it looks now, but has been a bit of a saga to get it right. If someone were to order this kit I would demand a parts list.
