PCCM+ install. Only took about an hour going slowly after doing my homework on how to install. Really pretty easy in my case and everything works fantastically. I didn’t take any pics but I’ll try to in the next few days.
Do you have a stock base system or Bose? Was it just plug and play and everything works (Nav, settings, sound quality, FM ...)? Been reading less then great results with functions/SD card, but some of these installs were beyond basic install, relocating of USB plugs, rear camera, and other stuff way beyond my paygrade and understanding. I want to keep it simple and mainly for Carplay ....

PCM 2.0, Bose, CD Changer. It was pretty plug and play following the instructions in the resources I linked in my ownership diary thread. The key things to look out for as a North American car owners, we have two FM tuners which are processed through a small box under the footwell carpeting on the passenger side. It seems to consolidate the signal received by the two antennas. On the PCCM+ unit, you bypass this consolidation box using a coupler and send both raw antenna streams to the PCCM+. That's the biggest thing I can see as being a tripping point. Happy to discuss with you, even set up a FT call when I pull my unit in a couple weeks.
which shift **** is that? I’m getting a Numeric shifter but want to make sure I can use the classic style **** like you’ve got.
The Numeric shift **** will accept the OEM ****.
The wooden **** I bought will fit the OEM shifter, but I found the Numeric shifter to have squared off edges requiring me to borrow my neighbors skills with his Bridgeport.
I have the business card for the shift **** guy in my office and will edit my post with his info when I get back there. Frank Burger from Grotto Engineering- Frank.Burger@grottoeng.com or 248-802-3630. I believe if you tell him what shifter you have he will ensure it fits perfect. I did not know there was a difference until I tried to install and it became clear.
The Velcro straps go around the extinguisher which secures it to the bench. Then they extend around to the back side of the tool compartment and attach to the carpet there. It’s further secured once the compartment is closed.
Replaced my rear bulbs. Anyone have a tip on how the hell to reset the “Check [side] bake light” indicator on the dash? The manual is zero help.
The warning should reset itself once you get the bulbs replaced. Some of the bulbs have multiple filaments so it can be non intuitive which are bad. You can always remove both tails and swap bulbs side to side for troubleshooting. I had two different 7225 bulbs fail within a few months of each other.
