^ Yes, BBS CH-R's rim protectors can be replaced / removed and are held in place with very strong automotive adhesive tape. Apparently it is essential to drink coffee first.

Yes, 3m tape secures them. I removed the adhesive with an eraser wheel once the SS lip was removed.

From that picture it looks like they removed them.

It is not meant as such: it is meant as a replaceable protector against minor curbing. You can also buy them in other colours, such as black.

I installed the microphone that came with my Mr12Volt Bluetooth module under the steering column cover.

This was of course only one part of the install. I had initially placed the Mr12Volt module in the frunk, hooked up to the CD changer wiring, but this is not a convenient location for getting the mic connected. I did not feel the desire for removing the PCM and tapping into wires (no 12V socket in the passenger foot-well on European cars), so I decided to move the Bluetooth module to under the right seat and hook it up to the phone module wiring. This required removal of the passenger seat to allow me to lift up the carpet, get a fish tape underneath, and pull the mic wire from the center console to under the seat. A quick internet search turned up the wiring diagram for the phone module connector and everything is working fine. I considered designing and 3D printing a mounting bracket for the original phone module bracket, but decided that some foam wrapped around the module would be sufficient for now to keep it from rattling.
I also found a €1 coin under the seat, bringing the total of money found inside the car to €1,05. So far the hopes of finding bundles of bills in a car owned by a lawyer for many years have gone unfulfilled.

Then maybe it was an option or not standard in every year, but mine doesn't have it.
