Added wheel spacers from Numeric Racing. 15mm rear, 7mm front.

Had an aviation mechanic friend of mine at NAS Whiting Field, gundo my exhaust. 1 7/8” tubing.

Had all four wheels refurbished, even inside the barrels.

Also replaced the cracking clear stone chip film in front of the rear tires with flat black.

and bought a new set of Michelin PS4’s

You can purchase the Porsche decals for those rotors really cheap online.
The Red looks great.

Agreed! I went this route a couple months after purchasing mine.

Installed the hacked mufflers, new tires, refurbished wheels, and wheel spacers. Gave her a good wash and a test drive to listen to the new exhaust tone. 1 1/2 hours, really made me smile. Love the gundo hack. It’s still quiet at low rpm, but when you turn her loose she roars! Thinking of painting my calipers. I don’t think red will look good with the red car. Considering yellow, anyone have any thoughts or recommendations..

Looks great but you may want to consider some Raggtopp cleaner and treatment for your top.

the gundo is perfect for my needs. Price is right and as both my full blown sports car and family 4 person drop top touring car, the sound level is perfect.

I'd do body color. Would look nice with the white Porsche font on it.

I don't think red or yellow will look good and with yellow, you'll have the whole - "guy is trying to look like he has PCCBs" thing.

I'd use silver or body color. If silver, G2 caliper paint is fantastic. I'll be doing my 928 calipers with it in a couple weeks but have used it 3 times in the past and it lasts for decades. Have 200k miles on the ones I did on my pickup with no flaking or fading. Have 70k miles on the 997 ones we did on my wife's car.

Agreed. I would do black. Gold would look good with that color but then you’d need gold Carrera badges and touches here and there. And that’s just so 1990.

OP, if you decide on Gold, I have a new G2 metallic gold kit I was going to use on my 928, but I don't think it's going to perfectly match the metallic bronze of the car so going with metallic silver instead. I'll sell the unopened gold kit at a little discount if you're interested.

Maintenance day.

insane how much quieter at idle it is now -- I wish i did these last year when I bought the car now.

Also: anyone have a clue where this oil could be coming from? I can't quite seem to pinpoint the source.
