What did you do to your 997 today?
Why did you go the rear glass mount and not use the front roof rack bar? (I think it looks cool either way, just interested if there was some additional functionality/efficiency by mounting this way)

I made a thread but going to post some in here too
Coilovers, spacers, wheels/tires, alignment and vinyl wrapped the rear valence (inspired by 911obsessed and @ATX_Native )

Maintenance
Performed some much needed maintenance. Oil change, cabin filter, and engine air filter. This spring has punished every filter in all of my cars.

Upgrading the wiring on the Rennkit module that prevents the spoiler error on my active aero E-ram setup by finding the mate to the connector I had been powering it from so I could have a solid snapped together connection. Previously I had a pring inserted into the connector contacts that would sometimes not make the best connection and then if get a spoiler error when slowing down and the wing wouldnt descend. This should resolve that and is a cleaner setup.

They are the racing dynamics ones, I wouldn't recommend them, they look great but are a pain to put on, nothing fits right, ended up having to take it to a local shop and having them weld it, might end up just selling the whole thing and buying Soul ones.

I fretted quite a bit over it which is why I ended up keeping one of the OEM rack bars, just for extra comfort. But the cups are 200lb force pull each, they are vacuum with a pump and an indicator of level of vacuum (can easily pump up when they start loosing grip), so I am not worried, the machined components are solid and the hardware is ok too. I did the math and I feel comfortable. I am goign to design different uprights for a cleaner look and design (aka move the cups lower and further back)
I initially planned on designing my own as there arent many off the shelf setups like this, all that you see are likely custom one off. But I got this kit from China for the cups because getting suction cups here is ~60-80 USD per unit and I paid ~500 CAD for this whole kit and came with 10 cups. It is holding up well so far! As I mentioned above I plan on designing all machining parts again for a cleaner look.
To be different I guess. Not a lot of functional stuff, maybe you could argue that its further back so doesnt cover your windshield, different noise pattern but I'll be honest and say it is mostly looks. I run roof a roof box on my other car too and I modified the OEM bars to lower it by 65mm for a better look. To my surprise it also improved the noise issue by making the wind noise ~75% less noticeable ("quieter"??).

Burning Brakes
Nice looking R, is that a spectrum color? I run similar wheels during the summer for autocross, but still at stock ride height.

Seriously considering adding the SmartTop remote upgrade from Mods4Cars. I noticed in an earlier post someone had done this. Just curious as to how well it works and if the upgrade is worthwhile.
