I think I might pop for new idlers this year. Can’t hurt right?

I was worried about that. Thing supposedly had a new clutch at 40K or so (just hit 60K). I don't seem to be enough for dripping anything and I still drained close to 9qts and haven't seen my oil gauge drop since owning.

it's incredibly easy to do. the hardest part of the whole job is fitting the 16mm wrench behind the tensioner pulley.

Exhaust tips, (they're not tightened down with the clamps yet, but this pic was during the process)

Took her out for a PCA tour. She was one of seven (!) silver 997s, but the only WB of the bunch.

Mine

My .2 cousin

.1 with aftermarket wheels

.1 out on her first tour

.2

An ‘05 and ‘06

First stop on the tour

Second stop on the tour

Objects in mirror are losing

I had my first PCA tour this weekend too. Had a good time but picked up a chip in the windshield that blossomed into to a crack. Now I’m searching the forum for windshield replacement experiences.

@TerrestrialFlyte Sorry to hear that. Following someone with rear tires as wide as your own does present a bit of a hazard.

I actually think it came from on coming traffic. One of those transit van flew by right before it happened. Could’ve been the 991 in front of me tho. No matter, time for a new windshield. There are worse problems to have.

@TerrestrialFlyte I've been waiting for a chip to turn into a crack so I can finally replace mine. My windshield is pitted but so far not enough to warrant a new one. Good luck with the swap and be sure to post if you run into any weirdness.

Lots of trust in those suction cups! What are they rated for?

That is a sick setup. Hate for your car to be a test subject but I'm also curious about how it holds up.
