I just finished powder coating my Champion RG5s with the new gloss black and red. These wheels were previously silver and I just didn't care for the look.We hit a very good match with the guards red. Also just finished installing 997.2 intercoolers and had Kevin with UMW build a 93 octane tune. BTW Kevin is as good as everyone says.
Two 997s with upgrades this past week:
I swapped black wheels for GT3 style wheels (black 911 Carrera S) for a different look (compare to avatar). My Dad installed the Eibach pro kit and Fuchs style wheels on his car (white 911 Carrera). First picture is pre-Eibachs, they really tighten up the look and handling.
This happened to my odometer and tripmeter at a stop light last night. Kinda freaked me out, wasn’t planned or anything. Unfortunately, not on my 997, but on my winter daily, an 07 Saab 9-3 Aero.
Big improvements on both! Congrats, they look great

That's the Porsche gods telling you that you're driving her the way she should be!!
Costco run. It was P-cars ahoy!! Half a dozen others in the parking lot, including a sweet Guards Red Cayman R that I parked next to (yes, for once, I had be "that guy"; had a great chat with the owner). A yellow (sand beige?!?) Cayenne too...T

What are your plans for the wheel? Looks like a lot of buttons and switches in store?
In addition to left, right, high beam and horn. I’m planning on adding an Ecliptech P2 shift light, PSM, PASM, hazard and Alarm switch. I’m hoping there are enough contacts in the clock spring but I’m thinking I’ll have to make do with just the alarm and shift light. I’ll post a lot more detail on my build thread over the month when I get going on this.

New to me two weeks. Drove it pretty hard for a "newbie". Twisty's and canyons near me. I now get it more each time I take it out what the "Porsche Experience" is. Love it. RJ

No but that "adapter works mechanism diagram" is gold for anyone who wants to run switches to an aftermarket steering wheel. I wish I would have seen this before doing all of the connection IDing myself with a multimeter. That took an age: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...l#post13501021
