Great practice to do every 6 months or so. That caked wet mud can lead to rust if not cared for

Did you or the painter remove the soft touch coating before painting?

I've never heard of wrapping calipers - does that work and hold-up? Do you use a special heat resistant vinyl. Car looks great with the new graphics scheme and matched calipers.

Cleaned the radiators and installed Radiator Grille Store grilles.

Also put on a new 991 lip using the EMC2 kit after my old one was chewed up from a few years of use.

Well shoot - while I was doing the brake pads and flush a few weekends ago it never occurred to me to turn the wheel in the direction that would be useful! Making a mental note

How long has it been since your last radiator clean out? Seems like a lot for central Texas. How many miles do you do per year?

Got the car in 2020, might have been the only time it’s been done.

Had to repair one of the brackets for the muffler. One of the bolts ripped of (at some unknown time in the past), so i decided to weld a new bolt in. Decided for 10.9 strength with zinc flake coating (flZn), which should be superior compared to the brittle 8.8 bolts from factory. Will test whether the repair holds and then change the other bolts too.

Also installed the FVD Brombacher Deep sump. Had to adapt the baffle plates slightly, since they do not fit to the C2S cars by default. Not sure if the oil drain plug will stay longer than one season, its more or less the lowest part of the car now. Any recommendations for magnetic plugs which fit flat are highly appreciated.
