Just shared this on my thread with more pics, but here is the "results" shot. Added OEM Aerokit front end.
Looks great is your car lowered? I really want to do this but worry I will scrape on my driveway. Could you do me a huge favor and measure your ground to fender at the wheels for both front and then ground to bumper lip. Thanks in advance!

Yes mine is lowered, and i'm actually going to be going lower lol. Do you have the aerokit? If not you should be fine unless its crazy steep.

it’s not the best situation. Lol. That’s why I’m really looking for actual measurements as I’m not trying to go through the $2000 process to scrape it first past lol.

I can measure mine. I'm on HR springs. My lip is LOW and I scrape on everything. But the lips are cheap. Currently getting two painted and will basically have a rotation of them. As the get banged up, remove and send off to paint, swap in the next....

That looks pretty steep and i'm not sure it would work. Not sure how it would assist but i'm already lowered and going lower, but front is currently 4" of clearance. cheers,

that doesn’t look too bad my 911 if about 4” as w closer to 3” and the entrance to my parking garage is very steep… I scrap a lot but it’s pretty flexible and cheap to replace if it get scuffed too much. They are designed to take curbs on tracks I think so they are pretty durable.
I think you are fine just have to figure out the angles to get in
It’s pretty steep…
Attacking it at a hard angle w PSM set to sport helps.
The aero kit makes it pretty low…
… but it’s still taller than my M3CS which scrapes everything
997’s just look better w aero or gt3 front bumpers so I’d go for it

On H&R's too and scrape on everything too. I see no need to buy a new lip just because it's scraped up though. If it's a black lip, all that's needed is some blue tape, some old newspaper or other paper where you can cover up everything on the front bumper except for the scraped up lip. Then get a $4 can of satin black spray paint from Home Depot or wherever and some fine sandpaper if you don't have it already. Wet sand the rough spots on the lip until it's smooth all the way and let it dry. Then give it a quick spray and it looks new.
I've done this many times on the three 997's I've owned. All three had black lips. It's about a 20-30 minute job that requires no mechanical skills other than masking the front bumper and operating a can of spray paint . I'd imagine for a car with a lip integrated with the front bumper having the same color as the bumper, restoring it properly is probably not as easy as doing the small black lip.
A long time coming, with a move/storage but the Fuchs replicas are on, after installing Eibachs, Getty ducktail, Rennline screens and EMC front splitter

Fuchs look amazing! Love black wheels on a white car.

Thank you. Not sure about the side skirts. You can see that there are deletes on rear seats, rear bumperettes, and frunk trim. Also a Sharky center bypass.
