so HOT! thanks for the photos

I didnt mean side skirts - i meant the front lip extension pieces that were newly released by emc2 - this way the front lip looks fully flush + more oem to the 997.2 bumper.

Hey Robert - Which refinishing kit did you use? Would you buy it again?

I used this one (ultra, drill required)- you’ll need a drill, some microfibers, and a spray bottle for water. Would 100% buy again.

I used a Milwaukee m12 fuel hammer drill, on regular drill. Just under full throttle.

What year is your car and how many miles on it? And does the picture above that I saved from your post represent what your headlights looked like before your treatment? Can't imagine. I have to think that picture was taken after you applied the Ultra and before you finished the job. Never saw a 997 headlight remotely as bad as that.

Just asking since the headlights on my 2011 GTS with 69K miles on it look just like the end result of what you did and I haven't touched mine with anything. Look new as far as I'm concerned.

yes this was after I sanded it with 500. Mine was basically clear, had minor yellowing at the top but plentiful rock chips, nics, and scratches.

this was before I started.

Is it true that if you polish the headlights and then don’t cover them with clear film, they will get bad or worse relatively quickly due to polishing off the original protectant layer?
